This is insane. I can't imagine how much work has been put into this. I've already used it to find out how to put a sun in the tr.ini. This is now probably the best file to look up information about T3ED. The only missing information is the stuff about the animated objects i think. But i didn't look through the whole file, maybe it's there

That's really cool! I'll gladly include the new help for the next version.
When I tried to make major changes, I must have done something wrong. I gave up then. That's why I only adjusted the text in "What's new in this version?" at most.

Would you include suggestions into the help file?
E.g., for Enter move distance command (Edit-Tools menu)
The "Use from last move" button enters the values of the last move made with the mouse.
And "Use last distance" takes the distance of the last measurement. Measurements are made in point mode by selecting two points. This allows objects to be moved exactly to the second point, for example.
I find this very practical and like to use it.

I need to take a closer look at the problems with copying VRoad points. I don't think it works at all at the moment.

Oh dayum this is extremely helpful. I didn't know this exists. Need to take a look next time when i need something like this

VRoad point copy/pasting now works fine, thanks!

BTW, I updated the help file with a couple of corrections and additions

I have to say again that this is a great revision of the help file. I looked at a lot of things today and have only found one small display error. It is in the "Show Virtual Road Bitmap Data Mode command (View menu)" in the "Legend" section.

I just uploaded the last version as regular download. At the moment there are no known bugs.

New in Version 4.4.0 (434):
- Bugfix-Copy_VRoad.

I'm giving up on Autobahn 3. As soon as i modify the "passable (8 bit) lanes", i'll get a strange crash which i also get on other tracks as well, but i especially get it on Autobahn 3 as soon as i edit those 8 bit lanes. It's very important to edit them for having a proper AI on this track. I don't know what to do here. I've tried finding single blocks or even slices to find a culprit, but the crash seemed random to me the other day as soon as i went on working on the track. The fix is actually finished, and the opponents are doing really well on the track, but as soon as you add traffic to it, the game crashes or gets the notorious infinite km/h bug. I also get this on Angel Lake 3. I think it has the same problem. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And today i've realised that these crashes only happen with traffic. I really need help. I was thinking maybe the newly implemented function in T3ED has some bugs like the editor for the animated objects where you have to switch between the frames first to apply the changes. I was thinking that maybe copying the whole sections can corrupt the data, but i think it doesn't matter after all. What matters are specific blocks/slices. I was thinking that i've found the corrupt ones, by using a specific ghost file which deemed to be a safe way to tell if the track got corrupt or not. But as soon as i've started a random race where i thought the track would be ok, the game crashed again. And i'm having a feeling that the problem might rely on the diagonally aligned square polygons right in the middle of the VR point line. There are some which are positioned right over the road or that tunnel near the end under the road next to the splitting section. Using the original 8bit passable lanes makes the track work again with traffic or police, but makes my opponent fix useless..

Here's my current version, if anybody has been tinkering with a problem like this before or maybe Jim can have a look at the track file itself. There's a block which is pretty f*cked up near the end. It's where the very long shortcut ends (tunnel). I don't know if it's that or some other part of the track. I've tested so much that i can't tell now for sure which blocks are corrupt and which not. All i can say is that i didn't get the track running properly with traffic or playing pursuit. Only racers without traffic. The old version (Alte Version) is not finished, it was my first try to fix the AI, then i realised that it is not possible in that way and started doing the new version where i then noticed, that also the new version would get corrupt when editing the "Passable Lanes"
