Hey everyone!

Just wanted to announce a couple updates (that you may have already noticed).

Added changelog to addon pages
If an author has updated their addon, you will now see a changelog section on the addon detail page:

Addon owners:
When editing one of your addons on the Manage Addons page, if you select to upload a new file, you will see 2 new fields. One for a short description of what has changed, and another to add a version number for the changelog. Next time you edit the addon, the site will do it's best to guess the next version number, but you can still freely type any version number you want

Fixed project page sorting bugs
The sorting options for the projects page were not working before, but they should be now

Greetings, everyone!

A couple new updates to tell you about.

Searching by author will now display on the filters menu

Clicking the "x" will remove the author from your filters
In a future update, this will let you search for authors directly from the downloads page, rather than going to an addon and clicking the author name

You can now search for replacement cars on the downloads page
If you are filtering by certain NFS versions (MW, Carbon, etc), you will now see a "Replacement for" filter dropdown. This will provide a list (and a count of the number of addons that replace each car) of all the available replacement options. If a car is not listed there, it is because no addons currently exist that replace that car.

Note: If you are filtering by a car brand or author, the "Replacements for" list will only show replacement cars that apply to your current filters:
Example 1:

Example 2:

As always, you can always check the "Now viewing" area to see exactly what addons/filters are displaying:

Let me know if you run into any issues with these new features!

Good update, searching by author is much easier now.

Hello again, everyone!

Dark mode (beta)  8)
Some of you have asked me specifally for it, and now it is finally here. NFSAddons Dark Mode!

You can switch the site theme by hovering/clicking the "Change site theme" icon:

Then toggling dark mode on or off

I am still considering it in beta mode, as there might still be some sections around the site that need converting.

If you notice anything that is still not "dark", or anything that you think needs tweaking in dark mode, please let me know.

After a few days I will probably make Dark mode the default for all visitors (you will still be able to switch back to "light" mode at any time, if you want)

New download server
You likely didn't notice this update, but all downloads are now being served by an S3 server. This will allow the site to continue to grow and should help the speed of the site overall, as downloads are no longer hosted on the same server as the site itself.

In the future, I may add another download server to mirror everything to a different region (Europe, most likely)

As always, if you notice any issues, let me know here or ping me on Discord

Enjoy!

Another update for you all today

Comment editing is now live
It took a while to get around to it, but I have added the ability to edit your comments around the site.

Just click on the edit pencil icon () on your comment, and a modal will appear allowing you to update your comment.

As always, if you notice any issues, let me know here or ping me on Discord

Enjoy!

Pagination updates
Made a small tweak to the pagination today.

You can now click on the 3 dots in the pagination bar () at the bottom of the downloads, showrooms, search and projects pages to bring up a menu to jump directly to a certain page, rather than needing to click next bunch of times.

Enjoy!
