JimD's Track 8 project

After 'Lake Diabolo' I started working on my second track a few month ago. Progress will be slow, because I usually only got time on weekends. But here is short video of the first part it : Track_8_First_Impressions on youtube

I has the shape of a big 8. There's no brigde or tunnel. The track already has a crossroad which is driveable. The the best is you still have to drive the whole track to complete the race, not just the first circle.  Collision whith crossing cars / traffic works, too.

Wow, are those NFS HP2 textures I see in the video? From the Mediterranean tracks? Once again makes you forget completely that this is NFS HS.

This is gonna be an interesting track for multiplayer use.

Yes I use some HP2 textures from the Mediterranean tracks and self made textures from photos.:bigthumb:

This is gonna be an interesting track for multiplayer use.

Can be a great track for a DKO I think.

I think this part won't be changed anymore.  But don't worry there will be parts that are more challenging. "Lake Diabolo" isn't that simple as it looks at first view. With Track 8 it will be the same.

Yeah, it looks like it's gonna have more variation than I thought, at first. Cool to see the progress.

Having to build everything in the scenery, every hill etc. from scratch still sounds like a lot of work.
