what is prostreet based on

does anybody know the REAL organization that prostreet is based on? the entire game. i think it might be SCCA but i doubt it. if you know the actual racing type please tell me!:cool:

I'm not exactly sure what ProStreet is based on, but I those racing tracks on the game are from real world. It's
not as fictional environments as other NFS series, but I prefer street racing than closed tracks. At least Undercover has improved, but they still need more cars.

Well, I think each part is based in something different. Those acceleration tournaments I think are real, and those speed challenges are very similar to the Japanese Touge Battles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touge)
I think it's just a mix of different challenges and somehow adapted to make them fit in the game.
