Description

This car replaces Porsche Carrera GT (CARERRAGT)

A recreation of the vanilla Porsche Carrera GT for NFS Most Wanted using a proportionally accurate model, replacing the old, inaccurate model that has plagued this game since its release in 2005!

NFSC version is in the works!

Features:

- Original textures from Vanilla MW (except taillights, which are from NFS Undercover)

- Faithfully remade MW kits 1 & 2, Carbon kits 3 & 4, and Shift 2 works kit

- Hoods, spoilers, and all other vanilla customization options available as they were in the vanilla game.

- Working damage textures, decals, lights/exhaust markers, UV mapping, etc.

Installation:

*Requirements -

VLTed or OGVI (OGVI is recommended)

VLTed https://nfs-tools.blogspot.com/2019/02/nfs-vlted-v46-released.html

OGVI https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/5290

1) Run (as administrator) either VLTed or OGVI, import carreragt_install.nfsms, and select "install"

2) Copy GEOMETRY.BIN and TEXTURES.BIN to the CARS/CARRERAGT folder in your NFSMW installation directory


OPTIONAL STEP - adds lowered ride height for kit05, stock CF hood option

*must have NFSMW Unlimiter v4 or higher installed (https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/688)

*need to use Binary (https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/1638)

3) use Binary (User Mode) to import install.end and select "install."


To uninstall:

1) Repeat step 1 but select "uninstall" instead.

2) Copy the vanilla GEOMETRY.BIN and TEXTURES.BIN files from the "vanilla" folder to the CARS/CARRERAGT folder in your NFSMW installation directory.

3) Repeat step 3 (if you did it) but select "uninstall" instead.

      The one used in this game at base had a front that looked more like the Concept version than the production model, which is one of the reasons. There are many more, but it's hard to explain with just words.

    Hey, for anyone working on an EC Carrera GT, could you please grant them permissions to use this as the base? This model is much more accurate than the one in the vanilla game.
