Okay, I have tested this mod, and here are a few bugs I noticed:
1. Changing from stock roof to either paintable or no roof options removes the markers for headlights, brakelights, and exhausts, meaning the headlights and taillights don't light up while the exhaust flames don't show up. This is related to the config file you used for CarToolKit.
2. When trying to select custom rims, the wheel placement is way too close to the center. This can be fixed by going back to Blender (or whatever modeling software you use) and move the KIT00_FRONT_TIRE_A, KIT00_FRONT_BRAKE_A, and KIT00_REAR_BRAKE_A more to the right (if you are facing the front of the car) so that the side with the wheel spokes is as close as possible to the center of origin.
3. When trying to select custom spoilers, the universal spoiler base is missing. This can be fixed by going back to Blender (or whatever modeling software you use), duplicating KIT00_UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE_A (duplicates have a ".00x" suffix, starting with ".001") as many times as there are custom spoilers, and joining each of the spoilers with each of the duplicated spoiler bases separately (such as "STYLE01_SPOILER_A with KIT00_UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE_A.001, with the former being the main object, and so on) until there is only one KIT00_UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE_A, meaning no duplicates are left. Don't do this with KIT00_SPOILER_A though.
Hope this helps.
Oh damn. Yeah, forgot about that. Thank you.
I totally forgot to centre the tire and brakes in blender, and it's been on my mind for quite a while now. Thank you for the reminder.
I tested the updated version, and most of the aforementioned bugs have been fixed. However, one new bug was introduced: Missing universal spoiler base.
However, it is an easy fix. If you go back to Blender, you can duplicate "STYLE03_SPOILER_A" which will result in the duplicated object name being "STYLE03_SPOILER_A.001". Then, rename that to "KIT00_UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE_A". Next, select the newly renamed object, go to Edit Mode, then deselect all if any is selected, then click on its Carbonfiber material from the object's materials list, then click "select" from the material command list. Next, delete all the selected faces, which will result in just the Carskin material of the universal spoiler base remaining. Lastly, go back and separate the remaining faces by material, which will remove the unused carbonfiber material from the object's materials list. Then, you should be good to go.
Is the UNIVERSAL SPOILER BASE only missing at STYLE03_SPOILER_A?
Cause if it is, then I might've uploaded the incorrect file.
The UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE is missing for vanilla spoilers. It's in the unique spoilers though.
STYLE03_SPOILER is the easiest to duplicate and base the new UNIVERSAL_SPOILER_BASE off of because of how the materials are arranged, you won't have to go through the arduous process of separating by loose parts and deleting countless loose parts.
I can't download through Mediafire, it says there is a file error, I hope you can fix it
The addon is being updated. A new link to mediafire will be uploaded soon.
Oh, thanks for the heads up :D
