Description
This Blender add-on lets you import full track and car geometry with a single import operation. No external tools are needed.
The add-on imports the following track data:
- Full high quality geometry
- All objects, including animations with game-accurate speed
- Lights
- Replay cameras
- Sun direction
- Road lanes
- Night and weather variants
Because the track import uses global game assets, such as the road lanes, the tracks must be imported from within the NFSHS/Data/Tracks directory.
The following car data is imported:
- Exterior car parts
- Interior car parts
- Lights
- Vertex normals
- Damage deformation shape key
The add-on assigns material PBR attributes based on FCE polygon flags.
Export to NFSHS formats is not supported and is not planned, so the add-on doesn't have much utility when it comes to modding the game itself.
The add-on can also handle more data when used in conjunction with the glTF format, but the data format is not stable yet which is why I'm not documenting it.
Requirements:
- The add-on is tested with Blender 4.4. Version 4.2 might work, but I haven't verified it.

Very interessting.
But why is it namend Speedtools? I expected something different.
Maybe "NeedForSpeedHighStakestools" is a little too long?!?
This is veeeery useful for everyone who is working on a NFS4 remake for sure.. Too bad we don't have any benefit for modding our favorite game itself
For a real remake the original assets are too lowpoly tbh...maybe for creating the trackshape accurately. Anyways shading, animation, camera support is impressive on this tool.
