  To LOS3R and 007Speed:
  Not only that. Porsche and Vw still work together, in fact VW is owner of over 80 percent of Porsche (I think), and as you can see in earlier Porsche models, also the engines were the same. It's hard to believe that weak, small sportscars without budget became some of the best sportscars ever :-))

  well, actually the very first porsche was a volkswagon,with performance modifications. :)
