Description

Full credit to the original author, Rata_536. The original model was created for NFS3.

Rata_536 kindly gave me permission to convert his awesome El Niños to High Stakes! Thank you!

Credit to AJ_Lethal for his brake texture and for the female driver with textures which I used for this conversion.

"El Niño comes to High Stakes to meet his younger sister, La Niña! The boy and the girl are finally together!"

Download this car and join the family reunion!

There are two versions included in this download: A 2d rim version (default) and a 3d rim version. The 2d rim version is intended for use with the ea cars so that it doesn't look too out of place. However, if you prefer more detail or you have a modded game where most cars are 3d, use the 3d rim version instead.

To install, simply use NFS Mixer to import as a new car.

If you don't use the Mixer, create a new folder called "ELNO" in your High Stakes directory under data/cars. Then move the "ELNO.qfs" to your data/feart/vidwall folder.

Hoho. That was the surprise you promised 😂 Excellent work. Maybe some more conversions from Rata, they look beautiful in nfs3. Will look great in 4, too.

I tested the 3D wheels version and works well but I needed to change the serial number with NFSWizard and an error make not possible and in the back should not have white lamps

Did you try using Serial Number editor tool? It's easier than NFS Wizard.

I took the liberty of "installing" reverselights on the El Niño since NFS4 supports it.  It doesn't feel right for me when shifting into reverse gear without them.

Improving the car with new features from NFS4 is definetly the best way to go. Otherwise we would be stuck with black windows without interior. On the subject of the reverse lights, maybe the texture could be updated to reflect that change.

yeah, it would be a matter of editing either one of the tail lights or the area near the license plate

I mean when I tested the 3d wheels version all lights in the back were red instead like the image with 4 red and 2 reverse lamps

Thanks to all  for the helpful feedback.

The El niño has enough brake/taillights. I guess it wouldn't hurt to turn the innermost ones into reverse/white lights.

Update is in the works for both versions...
