    Interesting conversion, I think you're right that this is probably the first Gran Turismo 1 to NFS conversion.
    The low polycount, much like those of the original cars in NFS 3 and 4, gives us an idea what those games might have looked like if they'd featured car rosters comparable to GT.

    ^actually the polycount of GT1/2 models is lower than NFS3/4's; I had to chop the mesh in half, then split a lot of polies to make the wheel wells and windows

    I looked up some GT1 and 2 screens and I see what you mean, yeah. I had also forgotten that in those games the cars had black windows and thus no interiors.

    Love seeing Gran Turismo 1 conversions. Would be nice to see the 1996 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo.  I bet giving upgrades to it would be impossible.
