  I downloaded this and I like it but I still see the OLD problem you already know of with the base, The (hidden) polies that make doing other paint schemes on this base hard. Still great work on the car.
  
  The only way I've found that works to edit paint jobs for me on the cars though is to use that one tool in FCE Finish 2 that goes over a whole area vs using the basic paint brush like tool, I don't know the name of the tool but it's the 2nd and 3rd tools on paint job editor mode.

  ... well .. I did other paints schemes on it and will yet do some other still, so what exactly is your problem then ... ?

  It's in the hood area, There seems to be spots you can't use the 1st paint tool on and have to use the 2nd or 3rd. I tried my self long ago to find what was causing this by breaking the car apart bit by bit but never found out.

  Yeah, I can send it as well as a FAILED attempt at making Buford T. Justice's sheriff car 1977 Lemans, It has the sides right but I never got the hang of building the front and rear areas so it was unfinished, If I didn't loose that car I can send it too and maybe you can fininsh it.
  
  As for a good track, Biller's Farm is good as a HomeTown replacement and would fit Smokey & The Bandit I guess, But someone really needs to do a U.S. version of XTRA TRACKS:

  That is awesome and makes for some LONG pursuits and pushing your cop cars to the limit, But it only can be used on Celtic Ruins as no one has made a counterpart for U.S. tracks like this yet that I know of.

  I guess ZModeler is more precise at selecting areas to texture, I tried to figure that part of it out but it was complicated, There is one more fellow I know of that uses FCE Finish 2's paint brus tool to texture, DeltaForce. But anyhow good work on the car, As long as you can create other schemes from that base that's all matters, I also have a OLD one I did for HomeTown, It's a sheriff 1977-1978 Monaco with a twin gumball lightbar, Each gumball has 4 rotators. I based my scheme off of the Indiana sheriff cars but mine was black gold and not black tan like the Indiana sheriffs uses.

  I'm afraid I cannot really imagine of what you are talking about ... I don't use paintbrush for texturing cars, and I furthermore remap cars in ZModeler like most do, so please excuse that I cannot quite reconstruct your problem pal :(

  An advantage of ZModeler is its 'select seperated' function so all body parts' vertices or polies that belong together ('joined') will be selected and you can then remap them as seperate parts within the mapping window ;)
  
  Black and Gold ... that rings a bell to me .. the '77 Pontiac Firebird from 'Bandit' .. oh well .. not that story again but it is such a sweet ride in it in that 'Smokey and the Bandit' game setup ... sigh ... wish there was a really nice track for that lately :D

  Until now it is only my own personal game setup and, then also just temporary for the game, but if I uploaded the cars for the community? But it is also necessary to alter some settings/car assingments in HS, so it might be too comprehensive for just that single game setup ..
