Description

This is another design by Michel van Dorst. I made some modifications, such as adding a dashboard and adjusting the acceleration.

Can you please stop re-releasing cars from other people and claiming them your own? It's not cool at all to see you as the author from this car, even though you've mentioned the actual author, it's still only adding some random dashes and adjusting acceleration. This is not worth an upload if you didn't change a magnificent amount of the mod itself. And i mean the actual car model. You should create a topic like i've did for my fixes and post your fixes there in your thread and not re-release somebody else's car mod just because he wouldn't care anymore if it's getting re-released under a different author name 25 years later

Actually I never heard about this car, but on the whole you're right. As 4 me, I have tons of edited cars with upgrades I made myself, but I don feel like posting them as my work on em is highly moderate n crappy.

True that, it would be like me putting myself as the author of the car, even tho I only did the conversion

This is a very complicated topic, i highly appreciate anybody's work, especially aftermarket upgrades from EvoX <'3 Since that must be some work. When i upload a track fix and put my name as an additional author i do it because it takes me several days to finish it up. I'm also very happy when PomFrit releases another AI fix or Zalcus  creates another fantasting scratch made track or DrSpeed or Butch releases a new car which is totally awesome. But reuploading a car taken from NFSPoliceHQ with a few basic changes and putting a different author name on top of it is just not cool. I appreciate anybody being part of the community, but please don't disrespect people who might have already passed away or anything else like that and putting a different author name. Even if DZ Gamer has included the original ReadMe, it's still not cool to put his name in combination to this mod. The thing is, most of us can exchange dash views and change some carp.txt's, but it would be good if those changes/modifications would get a separate upload and not being part of a re-release of a known car author under a different author name :-/

First: I'm not good at designing a car from scratch; that takes too much time. Second: What's the problem with me making some minor modifications to cars?! Honestly, I don't consider a car complete unless a dashboard is added.

Your minor modifications are not the problem. The only thing you were supposed to do, was to put Michel van Dorst as the author, and then yourself as the co-author.

Hey DZ Gamer. If you happen to have any old mods for sale, which is something I might be looking for, could you do something worthwhile and earn some money? If you happen to have the materials and need the cash, let me know.
