Additional Screenshots
Description
A conversion of classic Team-RSR 1989 Porsche 911 (G-Series) Targa 3.2 model for NFS:HP with some changes, version 1.0.
Features:
- Class B,
- Blackened interior with transparent glass (no classic NFS:HP styled black glass present, however might be done for 1.1),
- CARP rewritten using AJ_Lethal CARP Generator with somewhat SIM handling in mind,
- Showcase partially converted aswell using AJ_Lethal NFS3 Showcase/History Files Toolkit,
- Model rescaled to 100% using wheelbase as a reference,
- Original colors also converted into HP.
- Parts order is kept according to the original requirements, thus HB, MB, LB and TB are present to avoid any possible issues.
- Conversion was done with VEG patch in mind, and not tested on original HP executable before poly limit extension.
Thanks to:
- Freak-DS for granting permission on conversion,
- Whole Team RSR for a great series of Porsche and all the work done on these models,
- AJ_Lethal for CARP Generator, NFS3 Showcase/History Files Toolkit,
- VEG for Modern Patch allowing to run NFS:HP smoothly with much more detailed graphic assets and fixing numerous things in exe,
- rata_536 for his works on keeping NFS:HP alive and well with HD assets and further exe works (still much more to discover I guess though).

Awesome work mate, thanks for sharing!
Nice traffic cars. Are those available to download?
WOW! These pictures are amazing! The Porsche looks exactly how it is supposed to look... and the trafficcars are so high quality that you can barely distinquish them from the playercar. Everything fits together sooooo homogeneous. But what catches my eye the most is that UNBELIVABLE HD sky texmap for Rockypass! Soooo sad that this texture resolution is (still) not possible in NFS4.
I hope that one day your hard work will end up in a complete NFS3 mod as this is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing.
But... If I had ONE WISH free for a little detail change it would still be the tint of the window glass. A little darker and greenish glas instead of these white coloured glass would make the all black interors look more natural ;)
Hey, nice to have feedback from original team member! Hope to see you and Freak will get back on your projects someday, these cars were and still amazing :)
Homogeneous thing - indeed, I tried to proceed with as much of that approach as I can in scope of NFS3, so it would look like it was INTENDED to look that way :) Speaking of traffic cars - that's some good assets on behalf of rata_536. Of course I had made some changes, adding these simple interiors so everything would look similar way.
As for the green shade, looks like I might try to do so, indeed. Not the first time it's a comment on what I'm doing with HP assets. Well, at least I think I can try to go with adding small dark green area on texture, and then make it semi-transparent, of course keeping these polys as the last to render, have to check if that would work.
Ohhhh....YES! It looks absolutely perfect now with the green tint of the glass!
I feel sorry that you have to do that with all of your cars now
. Thank you!
