NFS 4 HS On VISTA

Ive been trying to do this all day, tried different things that i've read elsewere, but no luck.
Patches downloaded, compatability mode changed etc. Still get same error message when i start NFS 4 HS.:ugh:
Is anyone interested in details or sharing sum info, please post :bigthumb:

I Bought a New Pc Last fall that had Vista on it. Then i had your Problem..
Then i took it back 3 days after i took some Programs and Pics off the OS :eek3: Then it went back to the store for Full Refund. And im on XP Home Ed: Serv: Pak 3, all the way now :p

I uploaded a good NFS4 XP Support to NFSCars, it's the best one. Check their tools section:

On Visdta it doesnt work because it has DirectX 10. Install DirectX 7,8 or 9 & it will work.

The game does work in Vista but you to do some things. You need either the SP or EP modifications. You can get them at the iplounge forum. search it up.

i use vista on it and it works fine i dont know what you can do but i went on ebay and bought a new cd ver. because my other 1 did the same thing. it was like 6$ +2$ shippen and handlen.
