Quote from: bucksavageAnyone ever play any Madden games?  I have Madden 2001 installed right now.  Sucks that I can't play any newer games though...my comp is too old.
As I said earlier in this topic I have every Madden since '03.  I play MVP Baseball 2005 too.
Sorry.  I noticed that after I posred and I just didn't bother deleting my post.

I have triple play 2001.  How is MVP compared to it, if you know?
Never played that game so I don't know...but MVP is definitely better.  The last MVP was '05, but the people at mvpmods.com release a yearly update for it which makes it even more enjoyable.

Hmmm I think that for CMR05 tracks, the Finland ones were the trickiest. Nice pics though Will, makes me feel like playing it again
Lead me not to temptation....I can find it on my own

Hmm, I might have to find a copt of MVP somewhere..maybe VP 2001 or so..since my comp is old.  But mods are good..roser ipdates?  I managed to get a decent one for Triple Play 2001.  It maked the rosters good as far as like June of 2001 oe 2002, I forget which.  Still looking for newer ones ...have yet to find any though.

If by "roster updates" you mean once a week updates complete and accurate down to the Single A minors, yes MVPMods has roster updates for MVP '05.

The computer specs are actually somewhat compromising, I can max it out with my computer which is only about average.  However, it goes for around $90 on eBay nowadays, I was lucky to get my copy back in 2005 when they were still $30.

Yikes!  Expensive.  You know if they have roster updates for any other baseball games on that site, or can you provide a link to the site so I can check for myself?  thanks.  Te one I got for Triple Play 2001 doesn't include mionors but it does take into account any demotions to the minors or call ups and puts those players into the rosters of the pro teams.

What about Tom Clancy games.  My comp is old but it rns the original Rainbow six really well.

Lotec

They only have roster updates for the MVP games, and I think if 989 and ESPN had there baseball games for PC PC baseball games in general would get more modders, not just MVP

So..what you guys talking about Addon Maps for a baseball Game?
that people make?

anyways,

bucksavage

@Will:  We were discussing rosster updates for a couple baseball games.

I love the looks of that Celica...

heres a pic from the demo of Juiced2 , its a drift race whit the Monaro thing... note the buttons , it looks like I'm playing on a 360

objective :                    100k points.
points made :                368k :D
points wasted (hit wall) : 64k

its a nice game , it looks like Underground 1 but whit daytime/night and some cool new features/tracks and customization options

EDIT new try whit the 350z , this time it was almost perfect

M3 POWER !!! drift race against other 7 cars on the same track , kinda crazy

Car Freak

Told you Juiced 2 was fun... Only prob is that the vinyls come out very blur when I try to add them to a car. I think its got to do with the fact that my com isn't nearly good enough to run the game at a decent speed

true :(
you know that Vista give a sort of grade to PC's to measure its performance ? my PC's grade is 4,2 . To play this game you need a "3" PC at least , and a "5" PC is recommended. That means I'm almost close to the recommended performance. So I tried the game out at full resolution and video options.
The frames speed cammed down to about 1.5 FPS and the reaction time was about 2 seconds.
Driving in those condition wasn't hard , it was impossible. Trying to point the car in the right direction was hard. :eek3:
so for all that lag what do I get ? nextgen graphics , except for those damn vinyls ! I guess theres a glitch or something in the PC version
BTW , Juiced 2 lags even at the lowest video settings , aka Vista sucks :p

ThEoNeS

Vista does not suck >: (.. okay, maybe a little..... OKAY.... IT DOES!
