HOW TO INSTALL CARS INTO NFS HIGH STAKES AFTER DOWNLOAD

Can somebody please give me a step by step instructions on how to make cars playalbe in need for speed high stakes after downloading them. I have done lots of research but have not found out how, so if somebody could please just take a few minutetes to give me the instructions, I would greatly appreciate it.

It is pretty easy

1. Create a new folder in your HS folder (probably C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed High Stakes\Data\Cars) with 4 characters (such as "J220" if you are installing an XJ220)
2. Copy the car.viv of the car into that folder
3. If there is a serial number conflict (1-50 only, knockout must be at 33) use this to change it http://nfscars.net/file/view/highstakes/1322.aspx

Yes i like to do this Manually like
the way Lotec said,because i dont use this Viv Installer i heard about.
because i like to see if it done Correctly,after that say if its a Chevy car
or a Lambo,or a Camero,i will copy the Inspinch,Vivs
(maybe i didnt spell the rite) But it lets the game in Hot Pursuit mode,
lets the cops call you Chasing a Chevy,or Camero,or Lambo. they will say
instead of Sports car. So those are Sound files that came on the CD
game next to the Cars Viv of EA's cars. not all tho. YW.

I got back to you on PG about this. I hope it helps you out some. I'll get around to publishing an extended version of it sometime as a DL tutorial, but I'm kinda busy right now.
