MSFT

1) Vista is as useful for people as the Great Leap Forward was for China.
2) The Pentium line has ceased to exist.
3) Your video card should have at least 256mb of VRAM and feature an updated core from either NVIDIA (6/7/8 series,) or ATI (x1xxx series) to be able to function without bottlenecking.
4) Your hdd's clock speed should be at least 7200rpm.
5) Intel's Core 2 Duo series is the best choice for a processor.
6) You're not going to get a good system for <= $600.00.

Is that a good thing or Bad thing? heh.

MSFT, hi i dont think thats Totaly Correct? $600.00 Dollars is alot $$. I should be able to get a Set up like what TW was talking about Minus the 20" Entry Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor. Which i know cost about $300 or more for that?. Btw TW, is that your Setup you Have? Sounds sooo. Sweet!.
Real Advanced.. ;)
And how much was your HD Tower Case. that whole thing Minus the LCD Monitor.

WOW... TW... you almost have my dream computer right there... SATA HD... (which is faster than a normal HD I think)... Something more than the 512MB RAM I have right now... a DX10 GFX card... nice monitor... just WOW... but don't you have a DVD+-RW drive?

SATA and IDE are essentially the same, unless the SATA drive is in a superior environment.
