Hi, new here, hope this is is the right place for this...

I used to be a nfs fan but stopped playing for years, came back with U2 (which I love), and have recently bought Carbon, but the Z axis doesn't work properly for acceleration (Saitek Evo wireless stick). I like to push the stick forward to go fast, pull back to slow down (which works in Underground2), but in Carbon it seems to act like a button - ie full acceleration all the time.

Is there any workaround for this (I did a search on google but found no info about mapping controllers).

I also miss the replay facility from U2:)

Does anyone know if these things work in MW? as I do miss the daytime driving aspect.

Thanks for any info.

Hey their is a lack of replay in carbon.Ok now check if your controller analog light is set to off then try what you are trying to do.If this doesnt works go to controller menu and set to default. Then turn your analog light off and try.If this all doesnt works i will try my best to give you the correct answer for your problem just hold on for a while.

the saitek evo is a joystick... not a gamepad. i have a logitech rumblepad 2 and the analog sticks worked fine with carbon. in carbon, there are control settings for keyboard and alternate controllers. make sure that it is set to your saitek evo. actually... you need to make sure that you have fully updated your drivers and also installed any software that came with your joystick. also... try making the z axis as an alternate control instead of a "preferred" control. might help.

replays? i bet you everyone really misses the replays of the older nfs's and u2. unfortunately... ea is probably too lazy to put the replays back into nfs... which is one reason why many ppl who love nfs will lose interest... carbon was way too rushed anyways. they better put it back in nfs11 lol

not sure what you're trying to ask about mw.

Cheers for the response, I'll check the settings again (gone back to playing U2 since I wrote this - love my motor in that :D). Glad to hear the Z axis can be used for throttle and looking forward to giving it a proper try out.
As for Most Wanted: I was just wondering if replay is still in?

EDIT: Got it working, so, many thanks! Off to get chased by the bill :p
