i have a problem with need for speed: porsche unleashed

kay, so heres the prob, whnever i start up porsche unleashed, i choose a car that was downloaded from this site (the car shows up in the garage) but when i select it, the game just crashes and a pop up window saying stuff like "Porsche.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"... and im really mad because the car is really nice, also really fast..(

i tried rebooting my comp, still didnt work and i have windows xp professional

I have a problem too. Whenever I play PU it runs great:D! EXCEPT when I try to race on Normandie.
The game will crash every darn time! I've tried reinstalling and all that crud, and used differend cars. Ill attach the files for Normandie if anyone can fix them. Thanx

there are so many similar topics like this... it might be a compatibility or graphic issue... really don't know though since there are usually multiple solutions to this... maybe give us some specs to see if it'll work (though your comps will most likely be able to run it)

Sometimes you just download a car that just doesn't let you play at all, I've got that error, removing your most recently added on car solves it.

Actually, I haven't got any new cars or anything at all besides enhanced ver.(It had never worked, so I hadn't got any cars yet:() Also, it didn't ever work even before the enhanced version, just for you to know. (isnt that a book or something)

For those too lazy...

I remember a lot of people having this problem in the past; it always happened at Normandie for some reason. There are a few solutions, most of which involve the graphic settings in PU; for me personally it was enough to turn Lens Flare 'off'. Some others had to turn the Sky Quality lower, and a few needed to use a hack to 'replace' Normandies sky with another one. I don't remember from the top off my head where this hack could be found, but let me know if the other solutions don't work for you, and I'll look for it.

I am also having a problem. I just downloaded two new cars, a Road Runner and a Ford F100. Every time I start the save game thay came with, it loads. The thing is that if I selected the downloaded car, It says that it has stoped working. Please halp!!!!!!

The Ford F100 XLT and the Plymmoth Road Runner. Every time I try to see one of them, it says 'the program has stop working corectly.' I need help!

Remove some of the cars that you don't use from your save game.
