My mother tongue (French) is complicated. One difficulty is the multiplication of synonyms. Sometimes we use the same word for two things for instance "langue" means "tongue" and "language". If you add slang, it becomes very difficult.

For fun, this is a non-exhaustive list of expressions that mean the same thing: Make love.

C'est vraiment intéressant. Pour moi, les choses plus difficiles étaient les accents comme accent aigu et d'autres. Ça change la prononciation des mots!
