Looking for all NFS4 cars made by "Evoness" from the Aussiemuscle-network

Cooya!

Hi everybody!
After stumbling across pictures of some nice (but lost) cars for NFS4 again like this red Ford Escort here:
https://www.nfsaddons.com/downloads/nfshs/cars/triumph/5572/triumph-tr3a.html#c_53585

and in green color here (together with a Ford Cortina, a Mazda RX2 and a RX3) on a picture made by Remko some years ago:
https://imgur.com/I9dQy20

I am now eagerly searching for all the cars made by "Evoness" many many years ago and distributed on the Aussiemuscle-network.

I was able to find his homepage via "wayback-machine" but sadly all his cars are gone now:
https://web.archive.org/web/20021227230345fw_/http://aussiemuscle.totalnfs.net/amnfs/evoness/index.html

Maybe someone (that means Remko  ;) ) still got his cars sleeping on his harddrive and is willing to re-upload them here at NFSAddons?!?
Would be awesome to have these old gems back!

Hi Noise!
Yes, I checked Pete's Mega-collection.. without success. :(
He must have been unaware of the existence of Evoness' homepage aswell

Unfortunately, i started collecting NFS4 stuff somewhere about 2013.. So way too late :D

Hey all, I'm sorry for being so absent in recent months, and thus being so late to reply. Real life is keeping me crazy busy, and it's hard to find time to hang out here, at the moment.

At least I'm glad I have the files here that people are asking for: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jis066s65e6x71o9upn6c/Evoness.zip?rlkey=b7om58hn5ziwwjjyb7s4yi4g2&dl=0  (15 mb)
This contains all 7 NFS4 cars released by Evoness, as you can see on his Wayback page. As far as I know his page wasn't updated anymore and no other mods were ever released. That includes, sadly, the all the projects that are also on his page (Civic, Cosmo, Capri, etc.) Last mode with his name in it was probably this one: http://nfsa.ca/c153

Shame, as he was working on a more detailed version of his RX-3, but it never saw the light of day.

edit: I came across this picture in my nfs4 archives, and I THINK it might have been posted on either NFSCheats or NFSCars by Evoness, but I'm not 100% sure after 20 years if it was really him and if not, who else made it. The file is dated October 25th, 2003, which would've been a year and a half after his last official nfs4 release (the HSV GTS). If it's really his, then it shows quite some progress in terms of detail and accuracy, but we may never know for sure. Needless to say, there was never a download for this as far as I know.

Nice you found the time to bring the cars. The pic. shows a very improved Rx3.

EvoX

Wow nice Mazdas. Downloaded from cellphone. Never heard of this author.
I said hello, tough guy.

Spectre

Such a shame that Alfa Romeo GTV-6 and the Corvette C3 aren't available.

Just checked them out:

They are all right hand drive (Aussie versions)
Nice sort of homemade vidwalls.
All have OT options.

The Escort mkII Van is the best i.m.o. Just 1488 polies but very nice shape.

The Escort mk1 is pretty close. The trunk is not correctly shaped. And normals need work. The OT option is very seventies Sun louvres on the back window.

The mk4 Cortina has a good front, great wheels.
A vinyl roof as OT option (those seventies again). Needs somewhat better proportions, which I believe is possible with Carcad.

The best Mazda is the rx-2 coupe series2. It's a sports version with a rearspoiler (OT), and some clocks outside the frontwindow????. Just 1527 polies but very good shape. I noticed how close it looks to a C Kadett coupe in sideview. Evoness makes great exhaust for his Mazda's but much to big i.m.o.

The HSV is a good modification of the EA HSV. It has 4627 polies total because of 716 poly wheels tho.

Great cars, thanks again.

Ahhhhh!!!! Thank You soooooo much Remko! You are my hero!  :-* =D

What a pity that this "version 2" of his Mazda RX-3 never got finished... But It´s so nice to try out these old lowpoly gems after soooo many years.

Back in the time of 2001 surfing the internet with an 56k-modem via AOL was so time consuming and expensive that it was simply imposible for me to download every NFS-car available. When the internet got fast and affordable, many cars were already lost. Amazing that you could save quite a lot of these "ancient" cars.  :D

If you find more lost gems on your harddrive: Don´t be shy to distribute them ;)
