"The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"

I'm in mourning, I saw the last Jaguar.

Cooya!

WOW! It looks amazing! Sooo great to see you making dashes from time to time. It's a lot of work but it's absolutely worth it.

Such nice details. Even a radio..only knobs and buttons, no display?

Can't wait to get behind the wheel and attacking cobra's....display or not ;)

Butch

I'm searching the radio.

Amazing. By the way, how do you match the rpm needle with the digital numbers from the HUD?

Butch

To modelise the needle on 0.
To name the needles :F_MPH (0 to 0.5) :F_RPM (0 to 0.5)
To run on an easy track where you can reach the highest speed
To screenshot (alt-P) in the replay the top speed and the top RPM
To devide the top value from HUD by the cockpit value
To multiply the lastest number in the name value (here 0.5) by the result of the devide.
To rename the needles changing the lastest value by the multiply result.

The DeTomaso is on the way.

I've added few picture to compare my old and my new mangusta. 24 years between the two cars.

The first version is great too. I have it in the game too. I'm keeping it too. I like it anyway. I've had it for a long time.

24 years allready.....

For nostalgic reasons I keep your old version(s) in my collection. There's something about them.

But my other self longs for the updates.

Butch

I made my first cars (miura, daytona, cobra, mangusta, ghibli and DBS) on an AMD K6-2 300Mhz with a TNT videoboard and 32 Mo RAM and windows 98.

Thanks so much for this tutorial. So this sounds like some work. Dettaching the needle from the part and rotate it. Then reunite the needle to the part. Damn this is much more work than i've expected

Back than (2001) I downloaded your cars with a Windows 98, packard-bell Comp. using dial-up modem. Slow but exciting
