New NFS game!

The next title in the highly acclaimed Need For Speed series has been announced! The latest, 10th installment of the series, is Need For Speed Carbon.

For anyone who hasn't read the NFS Carbon issue of GameInformer yet, I scanned the pages and uploaded them here, in the correct order:

(I know that there were photos of these pages already, but I thought using a flatbed scanner and doing a little touching up would make the text more readable. )

Personally, I'm not very excited yet. Night-only racing, focus on drifting and this new 'crew' thing are not exactly what I was hoping for in a next NFS game. My main highlight so far is the inclusion of the Dodge Challenger, and the promise that there'll be more muscle cars this time.

We'll have to wait and see how that works out.

I don't think Carbon will really rock. It's only night-time racing and has got ricing, both of which I don't like .

Maybe there'll be more to the game than what we've seen so far. Most comments that I've seen on the NFSC announcement (on other sites than strictly NFS-related ones) are that it all looks so familiar... maybe something for EA to keep in mind when they release their next batch of media/info on NFSC.
