you need Nils' Pursuit BMW v.2? .. you can have a reworked version by me with also a typical 'Battenburg' checkered UK police pattern ;)

Had send that to Nils too recently, he was surprised about his old stuff reworked that way ..
Is a texture by 'Kent traffic cop' adapted to Nils' Pursuit BMW M5 .. ^-^

Lol, an looks Intresting Frank, thanks. Well you can mail me the Tga-' if that's all I need,.an just the Fce-' with it too, I'm just installing some new traffic today,.from getting yours too. Looking at it all just too a break from it all.  =D but is all Way Nicer bud I like what you did more with SnowMan an the bigger looking Gunman, Horses, an Wagan, not so Red anymore, seen the adds KW. Other things) but is nicer,! just copied it over,  8)

Now that's funny. I just got reminded of this particular paintjob yesterday, when looking through old NFS stuff, and thought how would it look on Nils' car. And there we have it. =D

digged this out on HDD so here it is .. Nils' updated PBMW v.2 part one: new textures and mesh plus very last editing file ..

Default Car00.tga is customizable texture matching reworked mesh for 'combined' Racer/Pursuit car, you must either rename 'USA.tga' to 'Car00.tga' for 'conventional' usage as Full Pursuit car or you have to edit FeData entries to 'Pursuit' = 'no' for 'economic' combined usage, 'Kent.tga' is Battenburg checkered UK texture, 'Metro.tga' is orange/white/blue' Standard UK livery .. Fran.tga is white/blue/red National Police pattern and 'Gend.tga' is dark blue Gendarmerie livery. Default Germ.tga has Aluminium rims while 'Germ1.tga' was being a test texture with black 'standard' heavy duty steel rims .. either one you prefer will work on it ... :)

[Example: 'Car00.tga' (default customizable texture) -> e.g. 'user.tga' if you do not want the car to be 'combined' car accordingly 'USA.tga' -> 'Car00.tga' for a default 'American' Police texture ...

or:

'Kent.tga' -> 'UK.tga' for the 'Battenburg' checkered scheme, 'Metro.tga' -> 'UK.tga' for 'standard' UK livery ..]

1st pic: 'Germ1.tga' with black steel rims .. (was as said only a 'test' texture .. )

2nd pic shows 'Kent Traffic Cop's' BMW M5 I had used the 'Battenburg' texture of for reworking Nils' car with for another UK livery ..

This seemed to be mistakable for some, you need to d/l 'PE39v2_mesh_texture.zip' too, 'car.zip' in next post is not COMPLETE!
File containing mesh and textures is attached HERE!!! -> Moved it now from 1st attachment place to 3rd one, that better? ???

part two: Car.viv without internal sounds, mesh and textures .. plz. import mesh and textures from previous zipfile 'PE39v2_mesh_texture.zip' and rename containing .tga's accordingly .. car is marked 'Pursuit' = 'no' in FeData entries by default for 'combined' Racer/Pursuit usage ...

part three: internal sounds 'Careng.BNK' (and library files *.CTB/*.LTB [edit: already contained in car.viv] ;))  ... these are different ones not default EA BMW5 sounds ^-^

import as well to d/led 'car.viv', save and - finished! .. have fun!

I knew you would ask that .. LOL - tell you what .. I forgot where I got it from but anyway sounds better than default EA sounds, bit more 'profound' and 'racing' like .. ::)

... maybe someone recognizes them and can help me out on that .. =D

I don't see much point in updating the M5... This car was originally released by Ben Trapp, based on the EA car. Ben updated the original textures a bit, including the side views, so by copypasting textures from police cars based on the EA M5 into this car, you're degrading the work a bit because the textures don't match properly.

Not to mention Ben's wheels aren't that high poly either, I don't see the need to replace them with EA's basic ones.

IMO it would be preferable to paint a new livery over Ben's car with the original livery as reference, then move it to Nils' police version.

As Dark One already stated .. more a thing of 'memorabilia' ... at least one of the first PBMW replacements having deserved that name and looking much better than default EA one but still lowpoly enough to work in pre-VEG patch times w/o causing the game to crash on European tracks, so Nils did great job on that in those days, his v.2 brought some improvements like better wheels, mirrors and new ODL ('Angel Eyes';)), all I did was adapting the 'Battenburg' texture and some minor improvements ... ::)

If I remember right one of my first d/l replacement Police cars ever ... ^-^

True I think, I'm not able to get NfsWizard,  to recognize,  the Ctb's, u know Motor engine sound files it will only import Cengine Bnk-'' from my documents folder were I put it so the Pbmw, do sent sound rite.. only if rest my life was this easy huh pal. ::)  an but I still couldn't find your
Other Tga-' yellow one. Ok I try ReDl'' it

ok .. that's a point .. tried myself and NFSWizard wouldn't import even find it ... :o you really never stop learning -LOL

I have sent to you complete file and I have updated posted car.viv zipfile to that containing *.CTB and *.LTB files already since they're not that large ... thx for that hint bro ;)

The 'yellow one' is 'Kent.tga' btw ... would be better perhaps to make this an official upload here eh? .. so is not that complicated then .. ^-^

I always complain about the writing stuff now is even more I did in the end = economy ... =D
