anyone recognize that? ..  ^-^

wouldn't tell more ..

need some help on car identification .. in chronological order if possible from Texas to Georgia ..

first one is of course Sheriff Buford's Pontiac Lemans Enforcer .. he himself claims to be from 'Portague County' that doesn't exist and 'Montague County' does exists but is a bit far away from actual setting so I consider the decal as fictional department but ok ... ;)

uuh that was close ..

next state 'en route' would then be Arkansas .. showing State Police and Sheriff vehicles?

bit clueless Arkansas Sheriff ..

.. calling Ar State Police for assistance then I assume ..

with seemingly little effect on pursuit ..

.. couldn't spot any Louisiana cars so next recognizable cars on the 'Bandit run' are then Mississippi State Police cruisers .. ?

noticeable attraction to water in general ..? ??? '.. take me to the river ..'

Alabama SP is then again skipped couldn't see any? so next is then finally Georgia State Police ..

Gran Fury here Paul bit damaged .. ;)

and '77 Pontiac Lemans Enforcer again ..

1977 Pontiac Lemans is not available for any game so I would rather stick with the Fury cruisers I would then alter to '75/'76 model with different taillights and two round headlights as well as in-grille marker lights .. :)

I made Buford's car already based on the 80's Ford LTD CV base once ..
Would the Gran Torino also be ok since has almost matching colour just needs that different Sheriff's logo ..? (with Buford as driver of course ..;))

I'm thinking Gran-Torino,  would be best? Fun old movie shots Bro!   =D   8)

There is Pontiac Lemans in TNFS, but I doubt that it would be of any use.

In any case, quite a nice selection of old cruisers you've got yourself there. ;) And I agree on the Gran Torino, because even I was quite sure that Baardk made it as Sheriff Justice expy (don't ask me though, why he didn't made the Lemans in the first place). :P

Speaking of old cruisers... I noticed in one of your threads the Minnesota State Patrol Fury. Can we have that one as well, please?  =D

WiLL

Hi Dark One, I think I seen pics, of that Minnesota Cruiser Unit, it was Nice! an all. Wonder what ever happen,.to it? Maybe he could email you it. It be Faster not to slow Frank down, we know we do want that to happen.  =D  ;)

thx WiLL and Dark One ..

that's a future project I have in mind to prepare not a single car but more or less a whole game or cars setup featuring all necessary car appearances (like in my 'Blues Brothers' game/cars setup) and also a track I had to alter for that, Fangio's 'Deadly Outback v2.4' which is a real long spacious track with many parallel roads and also a river .. ^-^
I had mentioned that in an earlier thread that the wooden overpass bridge in the narrow gorge there wouldn't let the Snowman truck pass in forward direction now that I fixed that .. was a matter of two single trackpoly attributes ::) :P<-this to u WiLL =D

I tried several times now to lay both the Bandit and Snowman truck on same serial number so both cars are class 'AAA' and pursuit game starts fine with just Snowman as the single sole opponent.

Found out that NFS chooses opponents in classic pursuit (or race as well) by car identification not by car name ..
Well Bandit and Snowman have to be of the same class first of all to make it work that way with no other cars in same class, so 'AAA' was best since most have less 'AAA' cars than 'AA' cars so you have to deactivate fewer cars by renaming them ..

You need higher class than 'A' to activate the auxiliary cop car that could in one case be the Arkansas Sheriff or Buford's Sheriff vehicle as 'additional' car.

Pity still that Bandit and Snowman cannot be team like Police is rather than having to be opponents .. I asked Zalcus and DrSpeed about that issue if it were possible to do but isn't :(

Object to the game is then to pull off the cops from Snowman either by hitting them or to shoot ahead to focus persecution on you so similar to movie content -LOL
You can also swap their pursuing focus when they are 'at' him by hitting the cops several times, I noticed that earlier that's how this game idea came up once =D

Game is 'lost' if Snowman gets fully apprehended so is 'deactivated' what normally is pleasuring you if you see opponents lingering by the road that way ... ^-^

Goal is to bring him to finish line safely after several laps no matter who's first then ..

Sounds simple in first place but I can tell you that task can get very exciting .. :o

Wanna see if I can manage to also convert that Jerry Reed title song 'Eastbound and Down' for attending game music by those new .ASF conversion tools haven't tried yet but I have quite a good rip of it .. ::)

This my all time favourite car movie excerpts video  =D =D =D

.. a little longer this one more quotes but less quality .. that 'Texas County Mounty' -LMAO

Pity also that there isn't a real good scenic montaineous and curvaceous as well as long enough for speeding track out there matching the movie's 'Heart of Dixie' kinda setting .. :(

If you didn't know by now you do now .. is all about her:

Bettie Page R.I.P.

Bettie Mae Page The Dark Angel (April 22, 1923 â€" December 11, 2008) .. a true but bit different 'Southern Belle'

'A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Page lived in California in her early adult years before moving to New York City to pursue work as an actress ..
Often referred to as the "Queen of Pinups", her jet black hair, blue eyes, and trademark bangs have influenced artists for generations ..'

No, not .. you

.. stupid!

That's also where the German 'Pagenschnitt' ('page-boy' cut, a famous hairstyle) originally comes from, not from the bellboy as some may think .. ^-^

another 'Texan goodie' here ..
