Sometimes it is better not to post anything rather than poor excues. I got 1 daily driver to fix and two cars in restoration and still have two pennies for that.

Well, I just changed my vote to $100.  I can't really afford much either but the amount of fun VEG's NFS III patch has brought me and the potential for a cure to my HS install issues is worth it.

I could spend that much on one of today's AAA Collector's Edition of something or other and never get the years out of it that the classic NFS games have given me.  If $100 can make these games run better and easier for more people then I think that's a fair price to pay someone for their hard work... And, who knows, if we could pledge enough perhaps it would inspire VEG to work on similar patches for the other classics in the series.  One thing I do know - if people don't pay up we ain't gonna get anything!

Well, i want to emphasize that donating is, of course, completely voluntary. There is no need for excuses or justifications. 

But i would like to ask you to be honest with your vote. It wont be helpful if you choose fantasy sums, that you not going to pay anyways.
We made this thread to get a realistic picture of what people are ready to spend.
(btw that would be another advantage of using a site like kickstarter.com, people will only be charged if the total amount of money actually reached the milestone)

I see it is great news. I vote for 100$ if I had it but I wrote to him about textures size limit and limit of all textures in fsh file for track. In NY Final I have 800 textures, and this can be limit, I think. Also my suggestion is adding more camera views.

That´s NOT what this poll is meant to be for. This poll is a serious instrument to find out if we can reach the 500 (1000) $ or not. It´s not a wishlist. So either you want to donate and HAVE the money to do so... or you click "I will not donate". It doesn´t help at all if you click "donate 100 $" and then you don´t do it.

The work on this project will kind of BE his real work should we collect enough money. Either that or freelancing. 24 hours a day don't provide enough time for both.

People, registered at nfsaddons.com, are ready to give Veg about 470 $ for the NFS4 Modern Project. I think this is a remarkable amount and proves the demand for a modernized High Stakes title.
The first milestone Veg set, is at close hand, if we are able to find a way to collect the money.


It would also be nice to have a statement from Veg about this result.
