Ok here is the, problem I tried the Vegs, patch an then my nfs4 took a big Crapper,, on me! I had set back my darn Windows to setback,earylier time. Try help this..

I installed The nfs4 Stockpack.
Again, an now I just keep getting this darn error. Last year time XJ220 told What to do. I'm also thinking I have so me missing dll'" files? Maybe.

I'm not the pro, on this Hassle here. Now it won't run anymore..

Because modern patch,had messed it up, when I tried, install it. Well it may work for others but not for me!.

Also, it shows two, nfs4.exe's, in My directory? Why does it have this for is underlined.

I opened up 3D graphics,an set it up for high poly etc. DirectX7 etc.
Added music folder from CD. To data folder, no go.

Right-click the game's shortcut and add -patchrestart to the target line.

Just save all your works in a separate folder, reinstall the game and then copy things from that folder into your fresh install. I think it should work well...?

Well, Will, do you *think* you did add that parameter or DID YOU ACTUALLY ADD IT? Makes a difference, you know ;-)

Xj220 u sound like someone I know,, close by were I live? IT DOES NOT HAVE A SO CALLED "TARGET  line" budd. Only XP or win98, had that. It just has like 3 tabs on the top of the exe property's. An says nfshsgame.exe
That's all? So what do I write on first tab above nfshsgame-patchrestart.exe  ? I have did this not working invalid it says. I vacum my apt now. Thanks.

that's because you're checking the properties of the .exe itself, not the properties of the shortcut to that .exe (which is usually in Desktop)

What about compatibility, again it's on Windows 7 after I install the Stock pack again? I'm sure It needs to be on some place,doesn't it?
Anyway she's running again now. But Not with Vegs so bummer sum?

Yeah, I hear you @ Freak_Ds )) it's hard to tell, if it's a Joke or not. But after 2 hours of pc. Work I got my nfs4 working again, with my saved data folder so Woot! Huh thanks for all your helps. @ XJ220 it's helps if I find the rite,NfsHs.exe to edit the shortcut, an then it finally worked! :-}
But I still get funky Errors,To much trying Vegs mod. So I had reinstall stock pack. Just glad I got her going again. *Phew*

The standard 3d setup is obsolete with veg's mod. That's why you shouldn't touch it because you just messed it up again. Have fun reinstalling the game. Then change whatever you want in the .ini file that comes with vegs mod.

It works for me Alt-Tab, then if u want off the pc, just touch Sleep button, on my pc. I was inside of Replay mode. Had game paused moving in the circle.
It works! it's cool I think. Last post from me here.  Sleep mode works with nfs4 )) it's just real cool No more restarting the game always. Like before...)
Yes the mod is doing great @ 8×6 Res for me. Best Fps.  Just finally had time.. To play tonight. An Enjoy the Glares of The great cars! Cya? )
