Wow, I haven't posted here in more than 2 years.  Been playing NFS High Stakes occasionally since then, I just go through spurts of wanting to play that game.  This place is so much better than NFSCars in every aspect - better add-ons, better looking layout, less idiots, and that's just to name a few reasons

As for real life, better than ever for me

I must plead guilty to this, can't really explain why, though. I don't think it has anything to do with the latest updates to the forum or something (in fact, I think it's an improvement on the new forum software you installed last year).

@Lotec, good to see you back here.

I'm still playing Shift2 when I can find the time, or try the occasional addon for NFS4, and try to keep up with news regarding The Run (didn't think much of it at the time of E3, but it's showing some promise now)

I just want to say that I am still here too but the only problem is that I don't have got very much time to work on something new for NFSHS like tracks. NFSADDONS still is my favourite website for need for speed.

I have quit. NFS is just not my thing anymore. I last visited Late September. I may keep my account up for I may gain the interest in future. But for now, maybe forever, I am no longer posting. i must confess that i rarely visit this place, which is a shame because it's looking (and feeling) much better than NFSCars has for a few months, now. i have also outgrown NFS, i'm more into simulators. since NFSCars has become such a wreck lately, i'll try to visit this place more often.

more "action" around the forum would help, though...

Even though the forums here don't get many posts, I still come here at least once a week, which is much more often than I go to NFSCars.  NFSCars has become more like eDrama&MembersCars, with some attention paid to the modernized and in my opinion crappy post-HP2 NFS games.  Here, we've always been centered around NFS4, which is an automatic plus    Plus the descriptions written by Remko, the SOTD and featured cars, the Additional Features tab for each add-on...this website is the best.  Plus, NFSA has a better selection of add-on cars and tracks despite being a much smaller website.  Quality over quantity.

A good way to get more activity here would be to invite some of the people still making add-ons for NFS4 (and yes, there has been a surge lately, very good to see) and tell them to upload their cars, check out the forums, make this their new preferred NFS site.

I'm trying to keep the strings together for NFS4 and bring together some players. I was fascinated by the download number of Cooya and my latest release - must still be quite some people playing HS.

NFS4 is my favorit game for about 10 years allready.It's so nice to have had great authors like Thomas Egelkraut to Martin Leps, Fivespeed, JPracing ,Kcendra, PsychedelicRock, Venom800tt ,xj220 to mention a few who kept nfs4 alive.

I tried making a car from scratch, but failed.You need a lot of patience.And spending hours and hours behind my P.C. is not good for me either, I admire people who can do that.So I try to modify/improve some excisting nfs4 cars for personal use.I once made the horrible mistake to upload such a project and found out (to late) it had stolen textures from the famous TeamRSR.To see my name show up in the ''report stolen cars/files'' section of nfscars.net made me wanna dissappear for ever................I didn't though.

To run the mixer/carmanager (what a great tool from JimDiabolo team) and see my more than 1000 cars show up and than choose a nice collection of classic cars and some suitable addon tracks is always a kick.

I haven't been here in a couple weeks at least, though I do try to stop by when I can.  I haven't even played much NFS4 in a while, but I still download stuff here and there, from here and at NFSCars, but I haven't been on the forum over there in a couple years, it was just a hard place to be, too much drama and flaming and chaos.
