old nfs crashes

make a long story short as seen before i got new computer windows 7 home and quad processors.OK when i go to splash screen on both games the games crashes.Could this be something windows 7 with xp mode could fix?

Having Windows 7 is not problem. Games after High Stakes work properly for me on 7. No idea regarding the ones before that.

It's funny. I tried installing NFS2SE on 7 and got an error message, specifically stating that my "OS" is incompatible with the game.
