Blow off valve sounds are cool with turbos, but I wonder if it could install on supercharged or other cars? Like:

Audi RS4 MTM
Jaguar XKR Coupe
TVR T440R
Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6
Mercedes SLR McLaren
RUF RGT
McLaren F1
All Koenigsegg's

Exotic Turbo cars:

SALEEN S7 Twin Turbo
Jaguar XJ220
Porsche 911 (997) GT2
Noble M14
Chrysler ME 4 12
Noble M400
Noble M12 GTO
Ferrari F40

Do any of you guys know if all of these cars could use blow off valves & produce popping sounds or not?
Discuss which listed cars can have bov & which couldn't.;)

i'm not too sure on the workings of turbos and SCs, but BOVs can be used on supercharged cars.

edit: the Macca F1 has an NA engine. Gordon Murray didn't want any FI stuff on the F1.

How about with the Audi RS4 MTM, I think they use diverter valves instead.:ugh: I'm not sure about bovs for Audi's. It's also odd if Mercedes SLR McLaren to have bovs.:p I thought superchargers are not recommended for bovs, they might not work well. They always work better with turbos & if bovs are to installed on supercharged cars, you still might not hear them properly. I wonder how bovs would run on Porsches's.

Ok, well you're welcome to talk about which cars can use bovs or not if you have some knowledge about them.;) I want to know more if which cars will work well with bovs or not & I'm confused whether or not superchargers should use them or not? From what I know, bovs are always more appropriate or suitable to use with turbos. Also just curious, are you a member on TDU-Central & what name are you on there? I have an account there & I'm still called Matt_Supercar.;)

Here's something I've found out, there are Porsche blow off valves exists & they can be installed on 911's.;) I just hope a Porsche 911 (997) GT2 with bovs will be awesome!:D Read down on the 3rd paragraph about the 2008 GT2 & it says blow off valves exhale in long, lurid sneezes:
