Whomever said "vista sucks ass" is a retard. Windows XP sucked when it was released. So did Windows 98 and Windows NT. Vista has a great base to be an excellent OS.

the base for a excellent OS ? dunno , but it will not improve whit the 1st service pack
Windows XP sucked when it was released. Yes , but it improved. XP SP3 vs Vista SP 1 (1st quarter of 2008)->  XP is 100% faster whit same software and hardware
BTW , I have Vista , and I wish I could pass on XP SP3
