Erm, how bout introducing the chance to choose factory options when you buy a car, a la Test Drive Unlimited?

Or a garage-style carlist where you walk around to select a car (PGR 2&3) ?

definately need Daylight.  Carbon would have been alot better with day as well.

I...  I guess you sort of get what I want! But... also... this is minor but maybe some actual real-life heat 1&2 cars... such as the crown vic. Another suggestion is to use actual brand bodykits and spoilers, w/ some fresh and new fictional bodykits and rims w/ autosculpt. also, open city racing with just checkpoints to meet, like midnight club 3.

Sinister

No more bodykits, they serve no function.

no more ricing, get back to the oldschool ways of NFS.

Tune only no ricing.  its scary to think people actually think Ricing is cool.

a 6" coffeecan muffler or a 6' spoiler doesnt help anything on a FWD car. except add weight, and the game doesnt seem to adjust for that.

also go back to real physics more like NFS5 instead of Undergrounds and later. seriously, the drifting in carbon was a little too arcady and nowhere near realistic.

I totally agree with Sinister on this one. In recent years (post Underground) the NFS series has gotten much too flabby, stereotypical, and overall dumbed down. We need a return to more realistic racing. The fun from racing games for me, and many others, comes from nailing the perfect apex through a corner, not from having the hugest body kit. NFS:7 and up have removed that fun from the series.

My only guilty pleasure from arcade like racing: cop chases :D

Car Freak

Every NFS (with the exception of the original and Porsche) has been about arcade racing... if you want something more realistic, get a sim like Live For Speed or GTR2, or maybe even TOCA Race Driver 3

I liked NFS Carbon, but I have plaed it sparingly so far, only because it is my bros PS2 and he lives like 20 miles away.  I didn't play UG, UG2 or MW at all.  That aside, the next NFS, in my opinion, should try to include the best of all the previous NFS games, Day/night racing, realistic weather/driving conditions, tuning/ricing/mody mods, COPS!!!!!/Being the Cops!!!, Free Roam trcity as well as older style NFS tracks possibly as challenges by computer played opponents, drag/drift/curcuit/rally racing elements included, huge car list with a wide assortment of Muscle/ricers/exotics/ and the ability to own several of each type not be held to one type, Online play, custom graphic for cars and the ability to make your own, and last but not least, the ability to make cars for the game for the world to share.

Well... The bodykits in NFSMW and NFSC are waaaaayyyyy too ridiculous, and somewhat ugly. Maybe EA could just come out with simple bodykits and those bootlid-type spoilers (non-rice). But... I'd love to be able to change rims... (:

bucksavage

Yeah and maybe be able to make engine swaps (can you do that now?) like taking out the 4 or six cyl and putting in a 350 small block V8, or Boring/port and polish/change the stroke of the engine in it to get more power out of it.  And last but certainly not least, the 572 Chevy monster crate engine.  Damn!!!

ToyotaWish

Engine swaps? Bugatti Veyron with a Mazda3 MPS? :D
