Mines is High Stakes, Hot Pursuit 2 and Most Wanted.

Not everything that counts is counted, and not everything that is counted counts.

High stakes, NFS III: HP and NFS:U. I also wanted NFS II, but it's not there

NFS2SE, NFSHS and NFSPU, which are the ones I played the most.

NFS2SE was my first game of the series, and it took a while for me to perfect my driving skills. Best part of the game IMO is that victory is never guaranteed: one crash might end it all for you.

NFSHS is perhaps my most played, with justice. The most editable one as well. I visit the community since the end of 2001, but it was not until 2006 that I made a contribution by releasing something worth downloading (the Impreza).

NFSPU made me mad at first (those 930s still give me nightmares) and the physics are rather disappointing once you tune the car a bit (lower front tire pressure and bye bye heavy oversteer). The tracks are the best in the series, however. The career and the Factory Driver modes are very creative, and accelerating a GT1 through Zone Industrielle or Monte Carlo 5 has a feeling unparalleled by other NFS games.

Yeah, I borrowed NFS Porsche 2000 from a friend, and I played the lug nuts off of it. I played the Evolution mode, bought a 930 Turbo, thought it was too much of a handful, and gave up. Then I played Factory Driver, got stuck at the part where u had to Bootleg and then J-Turn a manual 996, and tried continuing Evolution. I gave up again (STILL couldnt conquer the 930 Turbo), tried hard enough, and finished Factory Driver. And then I had to return the game.

I liked driving the older cars because they were so easy to drive, as they had so little power...
I think my favourite was the 993 Targa. Best blend of looks and (usable) performance.

NFS:HS, NFS:P2000 and NFS:HPII

DaBeast

My first was NFS but my first fav was NFSII (with Lamborghini Cala, Jaguar XJ220 & McLaren F1), the HP versions has this different feeling...but the new generation are the best with NFSU, NFSU2 & NFSMW (the pursuits are incredible!!!)

HS and II SE, but as it says "Legend", that's rather II SE than HS for me because it's really a Need for Speed when playing it, that name is perfect for that part of the series.

My favorite NFS game is Porsche Unleashed. The cars, tracks, and graphics were awesome! (considering that it is 6 years old!) Actually at first I was mad since you have to get used to the cars oversteering. Once you lost control, you're done. But I got used to the handling and succeeded!

My other favorites are: HP2 (just pure awesome, no doubt about it! :) ) and HS (so addicting). II SE was great too (exotic cars! :) ) but you crash a lot which I don't like doing (Unless I feel like it! ;) ).

My least favorites are the Underground series since you were forced to make your car hideous in order to win (hence the word "rice" which became part of our vocabulary ever since they released it). I hope EA will make a game that reflects their first few. :|

Your cars in PU oversteer?? I'm jealous now! ;)

All mine understeer like hell.
Saab: The stuff that dreams are made out of.

Car Freak

The 930 Turbo was the reason I gave up Evolution mode. It was impossible to do a corner without spinning and going backwards into a wall.

Freak-DS

my nfs-legend is nfs4. and @ car freak: i stopped evo-mode exactly because of your reason, too^^

Zpectre

Lower front tire pressure on the 930 and oversteer is greatly reduced (this works for every RWD 911 up to the 993, for which it isn't really needed). You shouldn't be driving on regular settings anyways, since the old 911s become extremely unstable at high speeds.

Well yeah. Without a stiff sway bar, it is hard to turn a car and I crash but when I do add one (especially 1978 911 Turbo) the car spins like crazy so I usually prefer not adding one especially to the older cars.
