I started playing NFS from NFS2 when I bought computer when I was 16. Then once I bought NFS4 in a CD sale and played .. i liked it.. so i kept on playing it...

then I played NFS8 UG2 first time (I even say this game running on PC first time) on my friend's PC just a month ago.. heh

my friend bought me the nfs combo pack for my 7th or 8th birthday with nfs2-6. i still remember installing nfs5 on my windows 95 haha. wow. even on my stock emachines xp. gfx card was sooo bad... nothing showed up except for buttons... and when i raced... just a deformed model of my car haha. and nfs6 too, the sharp turn in calypso coast after the shortcut across the lake. MAJOR LAG! haha... now it's like super smooth at max gfx on 1280x1024. so funny. but i haven't had much time with nfs 2-4. but still remember my first days of nfs.

I had to be 7 or 8 when I first played NFS 2 SE at my cousins house. Got NFS 2 (non-SE) soon after.
Since then I've played Nfs 4, 5, 6, and 7 as well. Im currently playing Nfs 4 online a lot.
Now that I think about it, I've been playin NFS for more than half my life now....
I'm 19 (just turned today ).

Remko's right. A lot of the people in the NFS community are older. Especially true if you go online [in NFS 4 anyway]; most of the people I race against are older than 25.

i am trying to imagine a 2 years old playing NFS...i mean ive seen my 4 years old nephew (sp?) playing burnout takedown, and he doesnt really know how to drive in the right direction...lol

I always teach my 2 and 5 years old nephews to play nfs, and, ok they don't control very well and have problems with the direction, but they are smart and they only race with stock cars...even they realize that tuning is useless.
btw,  my 2 years old nephew is awesome playing fifa 2007, and the other, well, he started playing Gta vice city also at the age of 2 at my home, but he only wanted to kill  people and then he got nightmares......my fault...lol
