New Subaru Impreza WRX STi?

Is this the new WRX STi? The only thing I like is the front bumper. It just look... weird. And the terribly high spoiler, correction, clothesrack just looks :eek3: If EA's going to put this in the next NFS installment, I'd rather they replace it with the Legacy GT or something... At least it looks better...

I prefer the rims over the bumper :p ...from a sedan to a hatchback? Looks horrible to me... the lights, the bumpers, the 747 wing... the only huge spoilers that are nice are those of old Ford Cosworths.

Hmmm... I like the bonnet (the way there's a depression coming out of the scoop), the grille and the profile.

Don't like the bumper or the HUGE spoiler. It wouldn't look so bad if it were on a 4dr, but it's just not right on a hatch.

Oh, BTW, this could very well be the new WRX, cos I read in one of the British mags that the next Impreza would be a hatch, to try and appeal to the European markst

I guess it's positioned directly to compete with the EU Honda Civic Type R and Ford Focus ST. However... it doesn't looks like it's meant for an everyday drive. :p Redefines the phrase hot hatch. :D

GM

Looks a lot like a Mazda3 with a bench slapped onto the back...

Seriously, people could sit on that wing. It's hideous.

Wings are just repulsive to look at on minivans. :squint:

Uh thats never gunna be the new Impreza, are you stupid. Why in the hell would Subaru be dumb enough to do that, they've never fucked up there cars EVER. This is rediculous.

Car Freak

I find it believable that this might be the new Impreza...

@HSVDrifter: There is a rumor going around that the WRX is going hatchback style.

It would be OK if they left the sedan though.

Most probably yes. But surely there will be a sedan?

Car Freak

Um, the sensible thing would be to have a sedan for the Asian market, but you never know...

I heard that rumour but you can't urely beleive this will be it. I mean if this was the new WRX, then Mitsubishi wins.

this definitely is a change but i don't mind it. it might look a bit weird hatchback style. but at least it's better than just a change in head- and tail-lights as it was like from like 2002-2006.
