DX8 is updated. Now it supports fog. Also texel alignment was added. It still doesn't support playing movies. I'll try to fix it later. Also it still will have problems on systems where 16 bit modes aren't available. I'll fix it later.

DX7 update with fixed ghost polygons soon.

Tried the DX8 mode in NFS4, only works with 640x480x16 res, other resolutions get me stuck in a black screen after pressing "Race", especially if I attempt to race with a full grid of opponents

AJ_Lethal, do you have the same problem with NFS3 Modern Patch?

Currently, this project doesn't need heavy testing because it is only on the beginning of the road and I have enough reports about current state of the project. I've posted this update just to show that there is some progress. Now I'm fixing problems that I already know how to fix. Then, I'm planning to work on the NFS4 thrash init code and widescreen support. I'll try to address some problems that I still don't know how to fix (or can't reproduce at all), but it will be much later.

That's why at times, it's just having the better patch,he has out that works? he has use it. Just like, the Track editor,  I use the one that worked.., better for my abilities, an less bugs,an Failures (
