Very efficient update, well done!

Memphis

thy XJ

Just added some technical detail stuff:

Memphis

just finished the project with 7686 polys. Hope I can remember how to put it into nfs4  ;)

for the first time i did some of the details with the texture instead of 3d-parts. Hope this will bring better reflections and lower polyount.

Remko

Wow, great progress! Those pipes on the side, those air inlets... wow.

Memphis

had my first testdrive yesterday. today i made the finish including a showcase.
NFS4 - I'm back

Memphis

Now, you can drive it. I will upload it here on nfsaddons soon, but for those who can't wait:

XJ220

Surprisingly close to the poly-count you aimed for. Nice :)

Memphis

Yep - but no interior and very nfs4-style-damage.

And coming up next: The prevolution:

I wonder if anyone did this model ever before

noise

Prevolution is an american SF movie isn't it?, This ''car'' looks quite unusual.

I tried the Batmobile and I like it very much.Bob Robert's version has 10731 polies and that makes a view in the showroom impossible and slows down the game.Your version has no interior/driver, but that's still possible with 7734 polies. It's also dark grey which makes it possible to see more details.Great work

Memphis

thx. nice to read such positive posts.  :)

I got the word from "rise of the planet of the apes". the german title was " Planet der Affen: Prevolution"
It means that I'm working on the previous batmobile.

And here is an actual wip-pic:

I'm rly pround of the wheels. One wheel has 260 polys

Remko

Wow, you're already further than I thought! It looks absolutely awesome.

To answer your question: yes, a 1960's TV-show Batmobile was done before (I had to look it up on NFS Cars, the author was Michael Glisson), although it looked okay for 2001 standards, it obviously didn't have the detail this car will have. Great job with the Bat-logos on the wheels.

All-important question, though: will it have (Adam West) Batman as the driver?  :)

Memphis

thx. i just had some time last weekend ;)

today you get the first ingame pics. It's still WIP but this is the best way to show the grill (front AND back):

Interior and driver will be an cooperation with cooya so I can't say so much about it.

noise

''Wow'' that looks great, can's wait to see it released.

Remko

My god, that looks great (that rear exhaust)! A pity there's no real way to add the 'afterburner' effect in NFS HS (that I know of)

Memphis

thx :)
at the moment I'm done with most details. I will show new pics soon.
I think the turbine will be "dead" like on my fist batmobile. Hope you like it anyway.

Today I worked on another project:
When I bought my new frontbumper I put it on the 3D model of my Aygo too see how it would look. That was one year ago. Today I put this special Aygo Version into nfs4.
How do you like it?
