30fps how you get that bud? I wished i could i havent done a Race with 20 Cars yet just 8 or 9 so far? Whats your Specs like Jaume. So you have any Crashs on the Exe,or just the game it self at all yet?
I just Like Medium Settings,better. When do you ever get 20 Cars in a Race what Mode or Tier Race? :eek3:

I think I had 19 opponents in an invitational event with a Veyron race...It was impossible to handle because of the speed of the car and the framerate I get.
About my specs, well I have a 8800GT, 2gb of ram, and an AMDx2 6400 (I think is called like this), it's not that amazing but it's good enough to handle new games.
Sometimes in car battles I get around 45 fps and the game looks way better, but I hate to play at 2x of Antialiasing, too annoyng for me.
Plus I still thinking it's very hard, I'm playing at easy and I'm still loosing some races. I guess that my gamepad has something to do (there's a "sometimes not functioning" button)

Hey Jaume how do yah I Cant see how you ever get 45 Fps at all?
I been doing Brands Hatch, Track that only allows 15 Cars Max on there in Quick Race? Also i didnt get any Fps Reduction, at all and that was Great?
Yes! I think the AI, on Easy is Very Conpetitive :/
Its not so bad really but in Career Mode i know it's Worse,Harder.
Yes, again im having Steering Problems also with my 11 Button Game Pad :{
Ive Been doing some Fine Tuning have you at all in Driver settings?
Well i give it about 80% Stiffness on sway bars.
and Turned up my Grip an, those others have you yet?
I dont think they let us in Career Mode huh?

yup, I'm having 45 fps sometimes, and even greater results in indy tracks.
I'm starting to enjoy the quick races, I didn't know you can earn money too.
Plus I've changed the music files, I mean the one with real tracks (racing and drifting) for the useless one from the menu, so now I have music in the menu!
I'm 15 now and I have a great doubt...What tier 3 car should I buy. I need a Japanese to do some japan series in tier 2, so maybe I should buy one Japanese tier 1 (g35) and make it good enough to compete in tier 2 and then a tier 3...

This maybe will be my Last Post about this Pos Game! I cant even Finished a Race is Career Mode, in Tier 2, Because the Game is TRASH!
The Car Slides all over the Place! And then Starts Bouncing up & Down what Kinda BS is that? :{ I want my $$ Back for this Crap Game... But they wont let me. Jerks because they think i just Copied, it was all.
Maybe by Next year they will have 11 Teen Patchs out for all this Messed up Game Has! And Better Game Pad Settings? Im very Dissapointed in this $52.00 Dollar Game thats Plays like Garbage. Thx EA :squint:

Have you tried it on a different computer? It could be your computer that's causing all these problems, not the game

I'm confused...do you like or dislike the game?

I don't have crashes anymore, cause sometimes I get crashes but some time ago I figured out that after removing all the dirt from my Video card fan all worked fine...
I had the same problem with GRID and Resident Evil 5 (what an awesome game, btw).

I bought the Zonda R, so yeah, I'm in tier 4 right now, though I haven't made any race yet.
I recommend you the 30 lap race in the eight track from tier 3 (resistance)...it's very entertaining.
And amazingly as it might sound, I manged to make a +4 seconds drift...I couldn't believe it, my G35 was sliding perfectly and giving me a lot of points...The funny thing was that the score to beat after the 3rd round was my own score :bigthumb:
For now I'm giving this game a 7,5 from 10, despite the unbelievable 9 of IGN and XBOX magazine (I believe that they were probably paid to improve EA's image). After all, that's just an improved Pro Street without customization options.

It's becoming a very long discussion for "Who's next?" topic.

I've made some kind of screen tutorial to explain that Works thing.
Here it goes:

First you need to choose a Works car. You need to be sure about that W thing.


Second, Car must be fully upgraded. Everything.


Once you fully upgrade your car you'll see that buy works option is activated and you can buy it pressing the backspace.


Once installed you'll notice a change in appearance (mainly body) and a very important boost in performance.


And I think that's all. You should be able to do it with your Camaro or your Corvette (I have them both converted).

I finished the game two weeks ago. It's nice game, I like it more than undercover. It's not so hard game as others tell.
I am planning to get nfs nitro, it reminds of greatest nfs games ever, nfs3, nfs4, nfs6 etc. oldies.

Jaume.what im Confused about Is.. :ugh: Is says that Car is a Works car i Upgrade it Full 3rd and then hit Back space then the dang thing says it Cant be Converted to Works? It Just dont make sence to me so do u see a Diffrent Page at all of Upgrades to choose to or Not? For works.
Well or just them Blue Bars is all? I thought we could choose other skins and stuff for the Car and parts etc. I know this Talk is Getting Old ok. I just  cant see Nothen Change :/ For them?

Oliver O. Yes i Like this Waay,Better than UC. Game Looks better, etd i have 3 Profiles in my Game now, and ive Hacked out the EA Intro God im Glad that Gone lol! Also ive installed this 100 Million Bucks at Game start Save, its so Fun! And it Comes with 6 Upgraded Sweet cars,1,2,3 Tier ones. but nothen is open in Career Mode its Just a Blast having this way and it Runs Great so Far. It was Called, AU Save? I just Renamed the File WiLL3, is all lol
we can call it Cheating, but its just cool ok. all that $$$ at Start.
Ok, Yeah i have the Audi S3 im Kicking Major but with that, i think this car has the Works done to it? Looks that way, not sure its rated 9.00 somthing for a Tier 1, Car I wished my women would let me Enjoy my Game Gah, stay single guys lol :bigthumb:

Hey! To all those interested in playing Shift on PC, It really seems as the new Nvidia Drivers make a considerable boost in the game performance. I'm playing with everything in high plus 1990x1400 and x2 anti-aliasing and I'm getting from 45 to 60fps with my 8800gt. Also I'm playing under Windows 7 this time, but I don't think that's making any difference.
