AWD to RWD conversions

I heard some AWD cars converted to RWD before such Subaru Impreza WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX & EVO X for drifting. Are there possible to do that to many AWD cars? It would be cool to have a highly modified RWD EVO VIII drifter. Cars converted to RWD are usually aimed for drifting, but what other sort of cars had it done before?

RWD Evos and WRXes are pretty common in the drifting scene...

recently Blitz did a RWD GT-R aswell.

Oh yes, I posted that GT-R in Let's Play thread before. So there must be some RWD done to an EVO 8 (VIII) right?
