frist I love NFS4
I downloaded from INTERNET about 48 cars, the replacement of all official vehicles, entered the game, the normal mode of personal, but entered the career mode after the first quarter no problem, what vehicles can play, but entered the Section II, B limit class and gambling are above a car, a total of three matches were unable to enter, each time after the reading to get on the show half LOADDING…… then exit to the main menu, but my copy of the EA'S CARS will be able to get playing.
The number of vehicles 1-50, excluding 33.
Personal vehicle test mode can be played.
EA'S CARS normal game.
First race can be used for any vehicle.

I'm not sure what you mean really by some of it, but....many addon cars can't be used in carreer mode, the reason being is that there are extra things that need to be added to the car files when the car is made by the modder/designer/converter, otherwise if they aren't added you can only use that particular car in single race, two player split screen or online.  

All cars must be withing the serial nuber limit, 1-50 and the knockout truck MUST reamain as 33 or the game crashes.  
Some cars have far to high polygon counts for the game engine oryour video card and hence the game might crash, giving you an exception error.  

Sorry if I didn't help much, I really don't know much about editing ans all, but I have seen the usual errors enough to pass on the basics.

It's sounds like a poly issue, with it only loading half way, try installing this if you haven't already http://www.nfsaddons.com/nfshs/files/3/

And then go into the Start Menu, and under High Stakes>3D Setup, choose Direct 3D

IPSPCHAB is not a useful file as it is thought to be. The main files are CAR.FCE, CAR00.TGA, CARP.TXT & FEDATA.ENG. You may also need different fedata files depending on your language. For example, FEDATA.BRI, FEDATA.FRE,FEDATA.GER,FEDATA.ITA,FEDATA.SPA,FEDATA.SWE & that too packed in a .viv file. Maybe the addon car you downloaded lack these fedata files so you cant use them in career mode.

Also Career cars need the three upgrade setting and the carp files for those upgrades.

my VIV FEDATA.ENG only in the most, because MY GAME is the English version of the game to the Chinese, the other is not nearly renting it, so I put in some VIV. ITA.GER…… are removed , and this is not the reason? There. good Luck Tedy752 I didnt Play Career alot but i did beat it Before I just Know that it Can Get Buggy on you. Career Mode can.
It depends on what User Made Cars you do use,and the High Poly amounts im sure. Im gunna have to see if my NFS`4 Even works anymore?

Thank you, the problem has been resolved, and I returned home yesterday evening after careful thought, career mode, the first quarter of the two tracks, computer car would not upgrade, but in the section, you will computer class B found some car upgrades, and download it is the only vehicles allowed inside upgrade, but which lack CAR1.FCE CAR2.FCE CAR3.FCE………… CARP1.TXT CARP2.TXT CARP3.TXT these documents are not indispensable, if not a problem, you can upgrade all the cars allowed close, you can try to download the owners of the paper if not, you can reference in the document official vehicles, vehicles fill you download documents, and CAR1.FCE use CAR.FCE copy, change of name, and also several other the same token, do not believe that you can try ah
