Joe Gibbs' marriage with Toyota

Been an occasional visitor of this site for several years now (since my boyfriend is a member) and it has gotten to the point where I have to state my rant before I lose it.  Being an ardent NASCAR fan (specifically for “Smoke” of the No. 20), I am extremely upset with this horrific outcome.  Unlike those martyr wannabes (you know who I'm talking about, today being Sept. 11), these fobs should be more of a critical cause for concern.  Now before anyone gets on my case, please allow me to explain.

1. Like former NASCAR driver Jimmy Spencer has always stated: Pearl Harbor.  I'm sure many of your heroic forefathers lost their lives in that horrendous battle.

2. Those yellow-bellied uglies also brought forth the tutti-frutti cars we all love to hate -- *cough* tuners *cough* -- to our beloved culture.

And now they've converted Joe Gibbs and have him aligned with the enemy within.  That's the key word, folks.  Within.  Unlike the Taliban, the enemy has already made their mark on our soil.  And if we continue to allow them to do so, those Japs will eventually overwhelm the rest of our beloved environment, not to mention our entertainment.

Can you even fathom the future of NASCAR that could be saturated with the likes of Mazda, Kia and maybe even Mitsubishi?  I truly believe the image of this sport is changing and it is all for the worst.  Which makes me ask, why is the true Americana of motor sports even dealing with a specie that are far inferior to us in the first place?  And correct me if I’m wrong but hasn’t the so-called reliable Toyota topped the charts with a record amount of recalls recently?

Still confused?  Let's take the first NFS as a prime example.  At the echelon we have the Lamborghini Diablo VT and the Ferrari 512TR.  One plateau lower stands the Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper RT/10 and the Porsche 911 Carrera.  Now, stationed at the bottom of this automotive food chain -- surprise, surprise, -- are the Acura NSX, Mazda RX-7 and the Toyota Supra Turbo.  Need I really say more?

From a civilized car culture (muscle) to one that, as one of the major league hunks eloquently said in 2 Fast 2 Furious, "came out of a cereal box" (ricers).  Way to go, USA.  On the bright side, at least the producers did the right thing and killed off those two squinty-eyed sore losers from The Fast And The Furious.  Now if only they had an ending in Tokyo Drift where they drop an atom bomb in the middle of Tokyo and make it just like Hiroshima... that would surely have made me moist between the legs.

And let's not forget the contaminations as a result of these uninvited overseas pests that have infected our favorite arcade racing franchise as well!  NFS Underground.  NFS Underground 2.  NFS Most Wanted.  NFS Carbon.  And now NFS ProStreet.  Ugh!  Don't forget ⅓ of the original Need For Speed too!

You would think that after two nuclear bombs those fobs would get a clue.  Toyota, if you can comprehend English (not Engrish!) then read this:  You're not welcome here.  You were never welcomed here.  Pick your poison and disappear.  And while you're at it, take those traitors Hulk “Real American My @$$ Who Drives A Green Supra” Hogan, Nick “Should’ve Died” Hogan, Michael “Jet Fuel” Waltrip, Dale “Time To Quit” Jarrett, Brian “So Dumb To Leave Hendrick” Vickers, Dave “Who?” Blaney, Denny “All That ‘Do It For Virginia Tech’ Was Just An Act To Get Your Support” Hamlin, Tony Stewart (WTF?!?  How could you even think about signing a long term contract after Gibbs’ unholy matrimony with Toyota?!?), Kyle “Good Riddance” Busch and that Almindinger guy with you as well!

To end I’ll just say this:  To rephrase what Chevrolet has always wished they could sing in their commercials, “Toyota, this is our cuntry!  So get your little wee-wee pencil-dick out of us!!!”  And especially away from me!

And don’t even bother giving me that bullcrap about Toyota cars being built in America.  Big-friggin’-deal!  What those representatives aren’t disclosing to you is the fact that the majority of the workers who make those vehicles are immigrants from the Far East and not your typical rugged American good ol’ boy.  That’s right!  You heard it here first and I bet my life on that fact!

As for the rest of the Toyota/ricers/tuners sympathizers... you and your shoddy-manufactured foreigner transport will eventually suffer dearly in a collision when you go up against something that is built Ford tough!

Geez, i thught that too a bit when I read it.  I mean we get her point, but it is weighed down by her rage over it and it makes the whole diatribe look, well just a bit racist.  I won't say outright that she is racist, cause we all have our bad moments, so I will not saddle her with that name, maybe she let her anger get the better of her, but, all the same; Yikes!   Ok, Janice, maybe if you speak more calmly with respect, we would listen to you more and get your point better than if you rant and rave like a drunken sailor.

Anyways, all I am saying is that next time, try to keep your rage under control whn you post and it should work out fine.  Or not, what do I know?

I think it's rather funny how I saw this exact, word for word post here and at NFSCars.

Ladey JanIce

First off, no, I am not a racist.  I'm sure yellow people are fine in their own unique way.  Secondly, an Asian customer gave me a hard time that day and this entire Stewart wanting to sign an extention compounded the problem even further and I had to vent it out.

I'm surprised to find people in here are not that quick to judge which is, in a way, a relief.  But I do feel I must comment on this:

Next time open your eyes and if you wear prescribed spectacles, use them.  Don't assume anything unless you want me to consider you as blind as a bat.

It clearly says no racism, and yes you are racist.  Most ricers are white anyways

I call it like I saw it.

Very true. Almost every ricer I see is usually being driven by a white person, but with tuner cars, that's a different story.

My take on the JGR & Toyota deal, I'm ok with the change as long as Smoke, Hamlin and Kyle Busch are still able to win races.

bucksavage

Yeah you got a point, if they change and it all goes to hell race wise then what was the point of the change.

And Janice, how exactly was it not somewhat racist?  And then in your next post you call asians, yellow people?

ToyotaWish

You created an account just to post this?

And yes, your post's positively racist.

Just to let you know, there are at least 2 or 3 people on this forum who are Asian...

Caucasians are white and Asians are yellow?  Wouldn't I be a racist if I neglect to specify what color their breed is?

Said the boy who's tagged with the name that has Toyota in it.  Of all people, why should I bother listening to your opinion?

What does his name containing Toyota have to do with any of this discussion? Are you mad because some Asian kid in his Celica beat you in a drag race? I'd like to know why you have to post how much you hate Asians and why you hate them.

Yes. Go rant on some racist forum, moron.

Because I'm a human.

Thank you, TS.

And just to let you know, i'm very proud of how Asian makes have been doing in the international automotive market. Although admittedly, I like Toyotas, Subarus and Mitsubishis which may be rubbish to a**holes like you, they do have the same high standards of engineering found in Mercedes-Benzes and Saab... Just look at the Lexus LS460.

6 Japanese vehicles.

BMWsport

what makes a toyota camry, monte carlo or a grand prix a race car anyway?

if nascar raced 'corvettes, gto's and supras', then it would be a sport worth watching...but, to me, neither of the 3 above are anything more than family cars.

I think you are trouble...and I'm not sure you'll be here much longer.
