zippyshare link expired so I will have to re-upload don't have the file on me will have to do it when I get home.

You could just put them on here or another site, Likely easier than having to trust sites that tend to delete files that have not hit X amount of downloads in X time.
NFS HighStakes is the best

I just wanted to ask, are there cars (not just RKs) that are not on nfscars or here that we know of? (for nfs3/4)

MADMAN_nfs

@Andrew L: Thanks for putting the link here

@Keiiko: Dunno if i understand where your question is pointing exactly... there are definitely cars/modifications that just vanished from public completely. Especially bigger sites, like JP Racing, www.nfsunlimited.net, www.nd4spdworld.com or www.nfsstreetdogs.de took down many content with their closing - but also small sites that vanished, often hosting "exclusive" mods.
Im sure there is a lot of stuff saved in private collections, but unless someone is asking for specific files, not much of it is reuploaded at other places (like nfsaddons/nfscars).
The problem is, nobody has a complete overview of all the stuff uploaded over time :)
Naturally, also due to the sheer amount of data, nobody can have a complete backup of all files ever uploaded for these games...

pete9516

i can remember i downloaded the whole archive from JP Racing and BMW Sport when they were online, but it's long ago. it can be that there are some newer files missing; and i have the complete v8 super cars from aussie muscle. i thought about uploading them here, but on original website it says that it's not allowed to upload these files on any other site
apart from that, do you guys know if nfscars.net deleted some cars after the new design? i think there are less cars today than it was with the old design
@Keiiko: if you look through the whole screenshots of the day archive you will find many cars and/or tracks you've probably never seen.. at least it is for me like that
btw there are missing very much race tracks for nfs high stakes here and on nfscars.net if you look at the internet archive here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030716234605/http://www.nd4spdworld.com:80/?section=track&v=4&pagenr=0&listorder=ASC&listsort=
and here used to be the v8 super cars and all the other cars from aussie muscle which i be missing, too, but i have the supercars though, really beautiful models:

pete9516

oh and i think i have nfsunlimited, too, completely, till the last uploaded car which is that Audi R8 Le Mans, if there were ever uploaded cars which are missing here. so if somebody has a name for a file i can watch if i have it. over the years i have collected more than 9000 (lel) different car files

MADMAN_nfs

Hello,
a very noble offer from you.
May i ask, did you save this large fileamount by manual downloading or you had a special technique or software? Especially sites nfsunlimited.com made it very dificult to do batch downloading...

Not confuse nd4spdworld.com with nfscars.net - they are different sites. Indeed nd4spdworld.com went down and took many files with it - but you may have noticed, archive.org saved lot of files from there. Of course not nearly as many files as the site once had.

The nfscars.net site is a different story. While they lost pictures of some mods after the redesign in 2015, the files stayed the same afaik. There is only problems with the database i think, where files with names containing special characters (é,á.. etc) getting corrupted (or the links to them more precisely). Just no one cares there, fixing stuff for older NFS titles. We can be glad the search functions returned in 2017 with the new gray design.
White (bad) redesign nfscars.net (2015-2016): Link

Interesting Aussie collection there too  :)
The site says cars by "Accadacca" (aka AC/DC) though, not Aussie Muscle.
Aussie Muscle had his own site at totalnfs.net... Link
Or are they the same guy?

@pete9516, I might come back to your offer for files from www.nfsunlimited.net - its still possible to surf the archive there, since the site and its database is still online.
Might be a good chance to easily grab some files for everyone who missed out something from that site.
So thanks again for your tender offer pete9516.

Greetings

pete9516

no, i guess i had just really much time xd and i just feeled that day would come that when the servers would be shut down :/
about nd4spdworld.com : i just took an example of an old nfs site which used to have all the older content from a point when i didn't use mods. it really makes me sad not to be able to drive those old tracks and/or cars :S

oh wow, i never knew nfscars.net made such a flashy design.. not my favour

oh, you're right! they're from Accadacca.. my bad

well no problem, i only want to help other people who have the same issue as me ^^

Nope, different guys, although both Aussies  ;) and both members of the TotalNFS - later Racerplanet network.
AussieMuscle (Kevin Wolfe) is of course known for his huge number of unique Australian NFS3 and 4 mod cars. Accadacca (real name Rob) indeed named after the band, as a lifelong fan 8) was more known as a track builder, especially Bathurst (aka Thunder Mountain) together with Nite, and the highspeed oval/dragstrip Performance Center. He did make a bunch of cars of his own, mostly dragsters, but I don't think they were ever officially released: https://web.archive.org/web/20050211175256/http://www.totalnfs.net:80/nfs4/cars/index2.html

Hi Pete, if you indeed backed up sites like BMWsport and JP racing, then at least 2 cars come to mind that I always assumed I had in my backups, but turned out to be gone when I looked for them recently.

One is this McLaren F1 GTR 95 with "West" livery, made by CPD. I have CPD's other 2 McLaren's, the XP5 roadversion, and the orange LM version. but this one is missing. It is probably an .exe file, like most of CPD's releases. I do not know the exact name.

Second one is this 1970 Boss Mustang by Robert (aka Nikkon), not to be confused with this car, btw: http://www.nfsaddons.com/nfshs/cars/Ford/232/

I don't remember if it was at JP racing, but it was at RunR's Racing Central: https://web.archive.org/web/20040919022828/http://rc.racerplanet.com:80/nfs4cars.php?s=250&mode=author&design=standard (second from the top) in case you happened to have visited that one too.  :)
Unfortunately I don't know the exact filename either, could be "Boss" or "Boss302", but maybe there are more of that name.

Thanks in advance if you have time to look for them, and if not, no hard feelings. ;)

Hello there fellow, i have 1 good and 1 bad news for you. the bad one: i didn't find the mustang boss. i only found similiar models with different drivers, etc., different textures, and i found this dead car thread of nd4spd.de which reveals that the model or at least the body texture has been used for more more than one cars which might increase the chance to get that thing somehow, BUT without a filename (thx to the wayback machine for not saving anything at all) i'm helpless. i tried every file with the letters in it of "boss", "mustang" to "302" but they're all different cars. i found a model which was nearly the same as you mentioned, but it had a different hood and it just hadn't the nice stripes on it, so i think the chances to get this car are very low. if only the internet archive wouldn't have become so strange and so many links dead, we could get all the files we want >.>
well, now to the good news lol, i have found the McLaren, it's an executable file as you said, but the names are not like "cpd_mclarenf1_xp5.exe" or "cpd_mclarenf1_lm.exe" but rather "mclarengtr95.exe", so it actually helped a lot that you said it's probably an .exe file
now that i'm wondering how i should send you the file, how about uploading the car here? with respective credits and such, for giving an opportunity for others to get it, too? i hope there won't be any protests or such, since i would give respective credits and/or copyrights and such
well i hope i will find the mustang boss some day in my archive and let's hope the internet archive will be normal again some day

pete9516

oh i forgot to post the link where i've seen the boss 302 too with other similiar fords:
