It is the addon or replacement ?
Please change the paint material from "HEADLIGHTGLASS" to "CARSKIN". When setting the paint shader to anything but CARSKIN, all it does is limit the paint finish to just the indicated shader. Also, please give your car 1024 vinyl support.
Agreed wholeheartedly.
The models brought by him look quite subpar because of this, and the amusing thing is that he even uses the "HEADLIGHTGLASS" material for parts that are made of carbon-fiber.
Do you know how to successfully change the "HEADLIGHTGLASS" or "DULLPLASTIC" materials, to "CARSKIN"? Every attempt I make, is ill-fated.
I think the best way to change the paint shaders would be to export the OBJ and then rename the material through Blender.
It is a rather tedious process when addon cars are concerned unfortunately.
