One question, are you going after the racing modification cars? Just asking out of curiosity.

Forgot to mention that you can also rip Gran Turismo 1 cars, it has a few exclusive cars such as these three:

Ripping PS2 models is very complicated for what I heard. The Z axis is always screwed up, it makes the model flat like a pancake. All you gotta do is wait for something that can fix the Z axis for good, like a new PS2 emulator that allows ripping of the model and textures.

Last mod for MW was 6 months ago, so he is not active in NFSMW modding.

      Let him explore other... games.

The car produces strange noises in race. I remember I also heard this on the Intruder V8 interloper. It's both in mono and stereo mode, d3deax gives CTD.

      Crash to desktop?

I don't get this error, it sounds just right, even the opponent car, it should really work on your end

Oh it sounds great but every 5 sec. it starts giving a wide arrange of noises. I checked the .bnk's in the car.viv in nfswizard but it's just the normal set of enginesounds.

At this point, it would be great to at least hear an audio file on that case

That's because the game is running out of memory for engine sounds; most of the sounds are around 2-2.5 seconds long. Even with the lower sample rate (16 kHz) that's too much for the game to handle: the game usually can handle up to 1.2-1.5 s per sample assuming all samples are 22kHz

Very well possible I play mostly on a old comp.. Funny that of so many cars only 1 or 2 give this problem. I try the car(s) on my more powerful comp. and see if it handles the sound better.

I got the same on Stingray. Strange noises like sand in the engine. Still atmospheric 😂feels like you are in the cockpit

I've always thought the game would have an internal sample length limit of 1.2 seconds? So it's just a matter of game memory? Then theoretically the samples could get 5 seconds long with enough memory? That's awesome
