Description

the original version of this car was released on October 17, 2002 (theoretically 20 years to the day if you're reading this) when we were known as mecha & Azrael. it was among the first cars we released, and incidentally, I think was the most downloaded due to its tuner presentation. it was an experiment, taking the Bonus Camaro texture and making it change colors. it was a "what if" the Camaro was the car used in IROC racing series instead of the Trans Am, the inspiration behind some of the funky pastel color presets. so it was intended to be a race car, but I gave it some flashy aesthetics. in order for me to do this car, I had to recreate the 1993 Pace Car first. AJ Lethal had an awesome recreation of the Bonus Camaro, but for the sake of authenticity I wanted to make the real car. the texture isn't great (neither was EA's Bonus Camaro's), limitations of High Stakes, but it gets the point across. I tried to recreate the 2002 car with our much improved mesh and gave it some unique features. I hope someone still plays High Stakes to actually enjoy it. please check out the 1993 Pace Car too.

rollcage I added last minute actually. it was from MCF's pro street Trans Am that I never released cause it's immensely super mega high poly. I might give it another look with the Veg patch. that was 16 years ago!

Can you release it eitherway because what is there else to do? Keep all the hard work secret? I don't think it goes above 20k polys or does it? You can play 20k cars without a problem. Would be cool if you release it, unless you want to have money for it :D

it was something I've been picking at for over 3 years now. in that span of time it was called Z28 mecha Edition until yesterday. I made it like the 2002 car mostly. mecha Edition may surface later as an alternate, little more straight up track car without all the gimmicks.

also I screwed up the zip file, the readme wasn't included. :P it's been almost 16 years since I uploaded new cars. I'm new to the current NFSA, I might be able to add the credits here.
