About this car:
I created this car some time ago to mod it into GTA4 or something, but never got around it because, well... life happened. So, I just re-meshed the whole thing, and decided to get back into the modding scene with this (I'm not particularly famous).
For those interested, This is my own fantasy car manufacturer. I envisioned this car as a Quad-turbo 8.0L W16 powerplant mated to a 7-speed RWD DCT, so maybe a mix between a Bugatti Veyron and a Pagani Zonda. I made the entire mesh from scratch. The High poly version has about 245,000 triangles (most of them used in interior and engine details)
As for this mod, I've tried to limit myself to no more than 1000 polys for the complete high detail car. The NFS3 High Poly Patch is not required, but It's still recommended anyways.
Installation:
- Unzip the "GameData" and "FEDATA" folders into the NFS3 root directory.

Nice car. Never saw a modder introducing himself as 'not particularly famous'.
Surprised by the low poly count and the high serialnr.
Edit: a serialnr. of 51200 works in nfs3, never knew that. There is a limit of max. installed cars isn't it?
You can throw any serial number into NFS3, but they will stop being FULLY functional at 50.
By fully functional I mean, the AI won't pick them unless you do (or select the car for it), and it can't have a loading slide.
The max amount of cars you can have installed in NFS3 is, coincidentally, 50.
Makes me wonder why nfs4 reacts different when more than 49 cars are installed. Maybe the fact that it has a career play or upgrade option for the cars.
This Vatio Volt makes me want to play (and investigate) nfs3 again.
Honestly it doesn't look as lowpoly as it is, really got my eyes wide open. Generally speaking, you won't find issues with poly count without VEG's patch till 3200 total polygons or so, for a standard 8 cars race. 3100 if you want to be extra sure.
The image work on the dash is simply phenomenal, and all the mechanical texturing on the body itself is amazing.
PS: It's called Vatio Volt and it's not electric? #SCAMMED!
