Fastest ever

What's the fastest you've ever driven (or ridden) in a car, both on the public roads and on the track? Please state the car and whether you were a passenger or driver.

For me: 165km/h in a Mazda 323 1.6 (dad's car) with him in the driver's seat on a night-drive to Malaysia. The car's top speed is 180 (manufacturer's claim)

I've never been on a track

I've driven my friends GT2. We took it on the road and track and did some rediculous speed. Don't remember the exact numbers, though.

80km/h on a moped
70km/h on a road bike (downhill, duh)
110km/h in a car (still learning, but my instructor randomly told me to accelerated, so i obeyed:D)

passenger:
150km/ on my dad's bike
170km/h in my aunt's VW passat

125 Km/h on my dad 70s mini (like the original 'Italian Job') as a passenger (cars top speed 120 :eek3:)
faster on my mom 90s rover 214si (105 hp) as a driver

i think the fasted i ever went was about 100mph but that was in my 85 cutlass 2 door coupe that i had like 6 years ago. lol :bigthumb:

Anyway, the fastest car I ever rode on was my dad's friend's BMW M3. 130 mph! weeeeeeeee....!

Yes! I agree with you RevveR, don't worry. But I go faster than you with my bicycle :p  (like 20mph faster than you)

I think that the faster I have ever went was something like 140 km/h (86.8mph), in one of the germany highways without speed limit with a Rover Montego Oxford Edition. And as a passenger. I hope to beat this "top speed" some day by my own.

Couple years driving my old 1968 Camaro Z/28.What a rush going 115 mph/7000 rpm flat out at 2 in the
morning on a long highway.Took awhile for my hands to stop shaking.It doesnt get a better than that.
