Hundred pushup challenge

A bunch of us at work (basically my whole company, 50+ people) are participating in the 100 pushup challenge:

That site has a pretty easy to follow chart which will slowly progress you on your way to doing 100 pushups in a row.

Basically, you do an initial test... of how many pushups you can do, today, and then start the training program 3 days a week, slowly increasing the amount of pushups you do in a row... on the way to 100.

I figured, why not tell you guys about it, and see if anyone here wants to participate also. Obviously it will be hard to "judge", but if there are enough participants, and based on the honor system (aka, no cheating)... maybe I'll supply prizes. But I won't say how they will be divided, because that would promote cheating :)

Anyone interested? Lets become the fittest NFS site out there :p

funny, I already started something similar myself.
I work in an office so every day I'd do pushups after I got home from work - I've gotten up to 50 consecutively.
im also pretty lazy though so its less of an every day thing and more of a when i get around to it thing...

Dude I told my soccer coach about it and now he's making us all do it :D It looks good though. I can already do 40 so he's got me starting at week 2. Props to whoever invented it.

I like the idea. I definitely will try it. ;)
I tend to do 30 just as warming, before I start with the weights. I'll start next week.

How is everyone doing with this?

Today was Day 2 of week 1 for me.
65 total (54 was the minimum).

Today was my second day too. I made 59 today, and 63 the first day. I have torticollis today so that should explain that difference.

Just did the frist day of week one... I did the 3rd column and my max I could do today was 22.

EDIT:  I decided pretty sonn after doing the first days pushups to do it again, like 3 minutes after I did it the first time.  So my final max results dropped to 15 but that is likely cause my muscles are getting worked out really hard and tired out some.  But I certainly felt the muscle strength in my pectorals, biceps and especially my triceps.  Damn it is a good work out.

Finished week one today....it is a really good work out.  My max went up to 30 from 25 so I am looking forward to what week two will bring it to.
