Sorry for gravedigging but you've got very nice lists there Remko. Also, I see you use quite a few of my cars. :D I don't like them nowadays because they have no damage and I... well, don't know how to do good-looking damage. There are a few cars that need to be updated, too.

That's a great idea with the lists by decade! I wonder if there aren't some hidden gems among the cars in your list, that is, cars not available for download anywhere. I would be pleased if you could send them to me. :)

Last but not least, I consider you a connoisseur of NFSHS cars and I'm honoured that my conversions are a part of your list.

PortuguesePilot

back in the day i had about 30 folders packed with NFS:HS cars that i circulated at will.

i have been away from NFS:HS for more than i can remember, but seeing your lists i still recognize some of the cars.

Love your 1960's list Remko! Butch made some of my fav cars for NFS:HS. i also remember i loved some of CPD's cars, most of FiveSpeed's ones and practically every Martin Leps' cars too. whatever came afterwards i did not know because i lost interest on the game itself. i came to the (somewhat painfull) conclusion that i had NFS:HS installed solely because of the car models. whenever i wanted to drive them, i got remebered that the physics sucked. also, the disparity in quality of the various models i had was brutal. some were near perfect yet others were rather plain. i vividely remember i had a Cord 812 Sedan that was modelled on the very beginnings of NFS:HS editing scene so it looked very outdated next to some more recent works-of-art, but i loved the Cord so much that i couldn't get myself to delete it.

ultimately, the poor physics just ended up killing it for me. but i still remember NFS:HS very fondly. cheers, guys.

When was Nissan GTR-R35 released for NFS4?

XJ220

Roadstar

Yup He did. I didnt saw it here.

Remko

Hey PortugesePilot, good to see you here.  :wavey:
Butch (NFSBolide) remains one of my favorite carmakers too, I remember how happy you were with his 300 SL Gullwing. ;)

Haven't played much in recent months, but maybe I'll update this list. I realized I forgot to include Pursuit cars, but I don't have that many mods installed there, except for a few recent ones by XJ220.

Just saw this topic and I noticed a reply by PotugesePilot.Nice to hear from him again.

Didn't he make great reviews of the cars. The way he pointed out the pro's and contra's of HS cars.I thought he took it a bit to seriously, but I still like nfsHS after 10 years.

@Remko:I saw a Alpine V6 in your (beautifull)carlist.Where did you find it?

Remko

Hey noise, good to see you here too. :) Thanks for the compliment.

That Alpine V6 is actually by Ryuji Kainoh, one of his later cars, and pretty decent looking for its low polycount.
You can get it here: http://www.nfsaddons.com/nfshs/cars/Alpine/1303/

noise

Hi, Remko.

Found the Alpine allready.I always ignored Kainoh's cars but this one is rather good.

I saw the Alfa Giulia Nueva Super 1300 in your collection, I have it too.
But not the readme.txt.I only remember there was a link on Kcendra's site to Alfistes.net or something. That's where I found the car, years ago.

Do you know more about it?

Remko

If you found the Giulia on Alfistes.net, then you know about the same  as I do, I found it pretty much the same way. I did contact the author to ask permission to upload it to the NFS Garage, but the author preferred to keep it an exclusive to his own site. He would have agreed to have a link from here to Alfistes.net, but I didn't see how that was going to work.

The site went down years ago, so that would not have been a problem anymore, I just never got around to adding it here in the years since then. As far as I know, it was the only car for NFS HS this guy made (it was pretty good, though)

To go back to Alpine here for a second, back when he was still working on NFS HS cars, Butch (NFSBolide) mailed me that he was working on a late 1970s A310 V6 (see attachment)
A pity it never saw a release (and no, I don't have this car myself, I only have this picture ;))
