nfs4 problem

hi
i installed nfs4 on my computer about a week ago and it worked fine. i got the high poly car patch and the 4.50 patch. downloaded a bunch of cars and put them into the game. still ran fine. downloaded two more cars and the serial number editor. didnt run fine
now every time i go to play the game the screen goes black as usual but it stays that way. wont do anything
PLEASE HELP!

Car serials have to be 1-50, 33 is reserved for knockout.

Another thing that makes it not work for me is when the Serial Number Editor exe file is on your desktop.  Put it in a folder or something

Maybe your car limit is problem or you have cars with the same serial number

I use the NFS car manager that enables you to pick the crs in the game, but the serial numbers still must be within the limits, and with any duplicate numbers you can pick what one of the duplicates to use in the game.  However I have noticed lately that if I have more than 70 cars in the cars folder the games crashes even with me using the car manager.

You also use old NFS Wizard program to make sure your FedData Files in the Car's are under #50 to see if you even have the Four Call Letters,are Correct for all your cars. Thats the name of you Car use's for the Car Folder in Data/Cars. I just never Added to many Cars in my NFS 4. I just replaced alot EA's cars is all. But Kept there Original feddata's
Just Replaced the Car00.FCE & Car00.TGA's & Carp Txt's
